  1. Greetings My '67 oil pressure gauge is almost pegged on high (H) thru all RPM. This normal? (Newer owner) Oil level is normal. Thanks!
  2. Ugh, reminds me of old smokers teeth gone yella crusty. And the blue mouth wash appears green in the bottle. - Rust bothers me less.
  3. I have a nice '67 CA emissions air cleaner. Pay for shipping and its yours. Thanks, PWB
  4. YEP. With CA emission ports. Pic at my post. Thanks to Chimera.
  5. I have a nice CA emissions air cleaner. Just pay for shipping and its yours. Thanks, PWB
  6. You're a credit to the craft. Fantastic work. Another Riv. saved. Thanks for sharing!
  7. Love the buttons. Just that extra touch puts it there. Wish I had them. Sweet ride. One Silver Arrow
  8. Rocky - they got new washer jugs at CARS, again: http://www.oldbuickparts.com/cart/windshield-washer-reservoir-1963-70-riv-p-773.html Nothing gets that yellow out
  9. Oh man! That's one clean motor. You could eat off that thing. I just got light gold paint for the hood latch - but now I got to do the right thing. And this is the second time I've seen a breather/oil cap. Mine is not a breather. So what's original on '67 oil caps??? Thanks all
  10. Well - I've never seen a pre-1980 GM A/C vehicle (with odometer use) without some sludge near the compressor. My misfortune.
  11. Those Swiss Winters are DARK. These original T-3's would have done well?
  12. All, I'd like to replace a '67 brake booster. Anyone have a part # and source for most accurate to original? And finish? The most I've seen on lowest mileage cars have a black paint finish. I see zinc available but not sure if correct. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

    Golden Nugget

You must be right EmTee. Yet I cant find this fuse at the lighter in the wiring diagram. Maybe I'm missing it. Strange. I don't smoke so its out. It just makes the wiring drag on the dash frame when the tray door is operated. I've heard another complaint about this drag. Bad design - as it seems all the '66 '67 tray door geometry is wacked. With the thermal fuse out, the door operates fine. The nugget is worth its weight in lead.

    Golden Nugget

OK - but why is there a "Cigar lighter" fuse in the block? Seems redundant. Thanks
  15. I'm guessing all Riviera's pre '68 required a Cigarette Lighter Fuse? Here's ONE golden nugget NOS # 1318535 for $65.00 Cant find them on the shelf anymore. http://www.oldsobsolete.com/products-page/1953-buick-parts-for-sale/1953-1967-buick-cigarette-lighter-fuse-nos-1318535/ "1953 – 1967 GM Cigarette Lighter Fuse NOS # 1318535" I replaced one in my '67. All good. Question - can these be bypassed safely?
  16. Thanks for checking Mr. Ed. In the '70's - I thought cars with power anything were a grade above. And well desired. That carries today. I appreciate the amenities and the privilege.
  17. I see. It stumps me because the seats here have more stitching with additional buttons as opposed to "custom" version. Seems a greater cost to fabricate. And theres the console with shift - big $$$
  18. SOLD I don't know how much. I cant get past that "lower" grade interior. Never seen it yet in another '67. Yet this one has a shift console. Strange combo. That plum color is royal.

    '65 Survivor?

Well, they DO make great, gorgeous/aggressive intakes today. Isn't this what the people want??? Lexus - the UGGLIEST cars on the road IMO
  20. This gorgeous '67 (not for sale) has an interior which seems rare and odd. The chrome molding is traded for black. Seat buttons gained. Door levers lost. Door panels seem "low budget" to me. Glove box badge loses wood grain. Vinyl gains buttons with no fabric seating area? (As a cloth seat deluxe upgrade) Not a GS. What code is this? http://www.rkmotorscharlotte.com/sales/inventory/sold/1967-Buick-Riviera/135032
  21. $27,000 for a base '67 #2 Excellent condition. Surpised! Thanks for great news. She's a keeper.
  22. Not mine but a very interesting CL find. Wish I had room! http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/5573243672.html
  23. Just thought I'd pass on this link to what seems to be a very hard to find NOS flasher. I bought one and it works perfect. Kudos to seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/321972241771?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  24. Gorgeous custom job. New vinyl, note missing armrest "R". Note the flat face vents. Toggle switch on column's dash piece? Missing seat (rear) panel edge chrome.
