  1. You know that any ad you see and want to share with us... you simply go up to the top of your computer screen and copy the address line there... to copy anything on your computer push down the key in the lower left corner, marked 'ctrl'.... hold it down and at the same time hold down the letter 'c' key... then bring your curser to the post where you want to put it... and push down the 'ctr'l key again and the 'v'... this time... that is how you copy & paste an address...

  3. Now that is a good buy... hydraulic brakes, 8 cylinders... and the body/paint look good... just enjoy and drive it as is... a few little things to fix.. which any backyard mechanic can do... down draft carb... Nice entry level car into the prewar hobby... a real good buy....
  4. Hi ... of the ones mentioned above... I feel the 1933 Graham is the best buy at a very reasonable price... it would be very safe driving at 55-60 mph... it has good hydraulic brakes, and nice looking turn signals ( on either side of the lower trunk).... Original low mileage survivor Just drive it as is... putting very little money into it to sort it out.... another lower priced , common car is a 1934-37 Chevrolet Master... with the Dubonnet independent front suspension, and the 3.4L.....80 hp overhead 6 engine... down draft carb..... will cruse 50-55 mph all day long.... if sorted properly of course......... so I think I hear you about affordability ... at $19K the Graham is my choice ) Possible best buy, a 1933 Graham Blue Streak straight eight sedan for only $19,500. Low miles. I know some Graham owners, they think a lot of their cars. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/graham/blue-streak/2606572.html
  5. Most coupes of this Era (late 30's- mid-40's) would look pretty ugly dressed in all white...very few pre-war cars will look good in white... but for me.. this coupe, with it's shape and lines... carries the white well... and the way he presents it, Peeking out of the garage like that.. makes the front grill view look rather handsome... I would think it might take very little to make it a decent 'driver''...... that seem like the going fair market price now-a-days.. for a Coupe in this shape... drive able... just my 2 cents ....
  6. Thanks again Joe... It looks awfully big to fit under my dash... could you measure it for me... (height, width & depth) ...and I would like a price you wanted..... minus the shipping I am wanting to find one that have little doors to control the direction of air flow to either passenger or driver or both..... this one you have the whole side that has the core and faces the driver is always open and blowing... so I think I will pass on this one.. thanks for taking to trouble to look and send photos... Sunny
  7. Thanks, Joe... that heater you have is gas powered.. I am looking for a water heated one....... Rusty... I sent you a PM... I am interested in your Chevrolet heaters... my car is a 1934 Chevrolet Master Town Sedan... just an original 'driver'... not restored..
  8. Thanks for the info Rodger...... the heat is the same 6 or 12 volts, because it comes from the radiator core... the spinning of the fan is what circulates the warmth... I am still looking for a good 6 volt heater... anyone out there have one...??
  9. Hi... can you believe it... someone took the heater out of my vintage car... so I need a 6 volt heater.... that has a working fan and the core does not leak... does not matter the year or make... just a working heater. Please send a few photos and best price... Contact; sunnybabaspirit@yahoo.com
  10. I am 6'4" and 200 lbs.... I have driven a 1929 model A, 4 door sedan , thousands of miles ...spending many days, all day sitting at the wheel.............. no problem, very comfortable BECAUSE, I unbolted the seat mounting brackets.. and moved the seat back 5 inches..... in a sedan, you can place the seat where ever you need it... with a little ingenuity.....
  11. I respectfully disagree.... I am not a Hot Rodder... but prefer vintage drivers... this one could be a nice daily driver... and the 8 cylinder engine is a plus... and I know from many years experience driving pre war cars that have the original look, but have some modifications.... that they are well appreciated by the general public.... only the 'educated' vintage car collector would recognize the modifications.... most people would simply appreciate seeing this car on the road..... being used & driven..... I feel the price is very fair for a car that could be a daily driver, , with very little additional money invested to sort it our for safe driving...
  12. Please... for those of us ... that have a lot of appreciation and interest in this beautiful car..... but do not have the money to buy it..... therefore are not able to qualify as a 'serious inquiry' ....... would you be willing George to post a few more photos of the front and rear of the car and the interior with the doors open... and the engine compartment.... there are many of us that have a deep love and respect & interest, for these beautiful pre war cars...
  13. modern alternator... rubber fuel lines with modern hose clamps... probably other alterations... cloth above dash...??
  14. JustDave look inside the cab ... in the 2nd & 3rd photos... there are the doors....
  15. Your best bet is to go to H.A.M.B. they specialize in selling hot rods like this one here..... this AACA forum focuses on keeping the cars in their original condition... and Hot Rods are not well received here generally... goggle H.A.M.B..... hope this helps you...

  17. There is another point that is seldom considered in this massive tread towards electric vehicles.... Where is all this electricity going to come from...?? with millions of people charging their car's batteries..?? Right now our nations power grids are maxed out... and California & Texas (just a few for example) have rolling black outs Now ... Are they going to build a bunch more coal fired power plants..?? or nuclear plants..?? CLEAN electricity is scarce now... and our nation power grid is over loaded as it is.... So Hundreds of thousands more people charging these huge battery banks in there Electric vehicles Doesn't make sense to me...?? How about You...?
  18. Buick 35.... If you went to the craigslisting... you would see photos of the driver's compartment... there is No sign of an Overdrive lever.. ×
  19. What he is calling unusual or rare suspension... is simply the stock transverse leaf springs front and rear... ( model A's have them also).... obviously he is not familiar with model T's or model A's.... he is thinking that the stock transverse springs are very rare... having never seen them before............ No big deal... simple ignorance... 🙄
  20. Manuel...... If you are willing to spend a total of $10K-$12K.... why not buy a car that is already a good strong driver, that has proven itself as dependable and road-worthy.... and save yourself all the expense and labor, of repairing this one....???? here is a real good buy.... on a nice looking Driver...... that you could use for years, and sell years later, for what you paid for it.... It will keep it's value over the years.... and is real easy to get parts for.... Link below..... also advertised here in "Not mine ads"..... 1930 Ford Model A "Tudor" - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... (craigslist.org) or this 1931 Chevrolet Independence - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... (craigslist.org) Rebuilding that cute Hupmobile, will be opening a can of worms... and parts are hard to find & expensive.... Just my thoughts on the subject...... 🙄
  21. To give you an accurate value..... you need better photos of all four sides... plus interior shots.... and is the engine free turning or stuck.... ??? from the little info and few photos... I would say $5K- $6K.....
