  1. Christmas was good to me this year 😬 Can’t wait to install them 🏋🏽‍♂️
  2. Thank u. here is the the part number https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/carburetor_components/brackets_and_linkage/parts/20-14
  3. Friends & I have purchased parts from Mario in the past. Good guy. A couple years ago I saw he had a stack of fenders
  4. I’ve heard the same thing many times call this guy, Mario (909) 786-5323. He’s in SoCal. Not as close to u as Sacramento but closer than Detroit haha
  5. it is on the two that my buddy built. I was surprised to see Kegart say his is useless. I’m wondering if he has the wrong mirror. The mirrors themselves on my buddy’s cars can be adjusted. Almost as if they were remote mirror. But without the remote. I just drove my 65 to the gym & confirmed that my DRIVER vent window trim is kinda a hinder. The trim is in the way of my driver side mirror. But we can all still use the mirror. That’s the same as the passenger side mirror. It can still be used…as long as u have the right mirror that can be adjusted inward. Unless the vent window trim on a 63/64 is wider/thicker & it covers more of the mirror. Still waiting to hear from anyone here with a 63/64 about that. I can see that being an issue. Otherwise, it’ll work
  6. I spent $20 on four 1157 LED bulbs from that previously mentioned website superbrightLED (I think that was the name of the site)…$22 on an electronic flasher & they look amazing. Cali traffic here I come Haha
  7. Is the vent window vertical trim/divider thicker/wider on a 63/64 than on a 65? My buddy who built two 65’s mounted passenger side view mirrors to both his builds. He mounted them at same location as the driver door mirror. Yes, the vent window trim on both his cars is in the way. But the trim is thin enough to where U can still see plenty good down the passenger side. I thought it was good enough that I bought two mirrors to use the best of the two on my car (still haven’t mounted mine 🤦🏻‍♂️) heck, with that said, the driver door vent window trim on these cars is in the way of the driver door side view mirror too haha. No one complains about that haha
  8. Very cool comparison pic Ted. Thank u. I’ve never seen the right bracket for finned valve covers before.
  9. can u please share the YouTube link or at least tell us what the fellow “showed” u?
  10. Good idea on having a pro look at your column. The manual discouraged me too My car is good. Thx for asking. I’ve been focused on driving the snot out of my car. 6k miles on her now haha
  11. Hello friend. Long time no speak. I don’t know what your in for. Sorry. I can’t help. As for pullers, U will need one to get the steering wheel off. I bought mine at HF. It did the job. That’s no specialty tool tho. Our manual shows a slide hammer like puller that is needed once u get the steering wheel off. That seems like a specialty tool. I needed to get in my column to fix my turn signal cancelation pin & decided not to once I saw that “specialty tool”. Too trick for my blood haha Lemme know if u need any help
  12. This is a really cool idea. I never even thought of it.
  13. I am checking with a local source in SoCal. Your license plate says Washington. Not sure how shipping a hood & fender is gonna work if I find one.
  14. I saved this in hopes to someday do the same to my car. It hasn’t happened haha Great info BTW TexRiv…thank u
  15. @SwedeDownUnderR63 yes…everyone with a Riv should own the service manual. I have one too. These books are great. But it sure didn’t help tell me what I learned the hard way…(read my reply to RivNut) @RivNut I thought the same thing about the “locating hooks” when after removing the screws at the front of dash my dash would NOT budge. In my case, my hooks did need some persuasion to release. After that first time my dash now almost jumps off with a one finger tug when front screws are removed. What I learned is that a little spray lube may have been all I needed on the locating hooks for them to play nice.
  16. ”Slide cover forward” sounds confusing. Makes it seems like u are saying to slide it toward the front of the car. Maybe I’m the only one reading it like that. But in an effort to clear it up for others reading it like I am… once the screws are out, slide the cover back (towards the rear of the car).
  17. Ed’s son who is doing that 3D image thing may need those specs Also, it could just be the pic, in your pic with antenna extended it looks like the antenna goes on forever haha. Is that an illusion or is it just a super long mast?
  18. Love this mod…but how would we make that “T shape bushing?” Great pix too. I love pix haha. How did u get so many pix on one post? It always tells me to take a hike when I try to add more than like 4 pix haha Edit: hopefully one of the electrical wizards can help figure out how to get this new antenna to work with our dash switch?? 🙏🏼🙏🏼
  19. I was thinking maybe the opening was for a different radio
