Helps if you are in the trucking world and have the room to work on it. Prices can be reasonable due to limited audience for this type of vehicle. His price seems optimistic.

C4 usually means 1964 in Ford parts jargon. No idea of what it might go to.

Can't imagine running AC on that small of an engine. Seems like it would really limit its speed and cause a lot of overheating.

Saw this beautiful 1969 Mustang convertible today....

I swear you are a magnate for finding old cars. There must be some telepathic signal in the universe that directs you to being in the right place at the right time. Hope it continues! Terry -
Fire up might not have been the best choice of words for your attempt to start the engine but may wind up as an accurate descriptor. I sincerely hope not! Terry

Some times the French get it right. This is not one of those times! Terry

Compar-O-Meter Automobile Headlight Tester

United Motor Service was the parts division of GM. Uses a photo cell to convert light brightness to electrical energy to move the pointer on the meter. Nice display item. -
That is really neat! It's amazing what can be done when you have the vision to see what can be crafted from simple materials. Great job.

Neat car! I had looked at them when they were new as I was driving about 100 miles a day round trip for my job. Knowing they were sold at Buick dealerships eliminated the troubles of having to figure out where I could get it served. Wound up buying a Chevelle SS instead, a 350ci with 2 barrel carb. So maybe I wasn't that concerned about fuel economy after all.

Did you post on the Desoto Chrysler section of the forum? I sold a pair of nos ones a few years ago. They are rounded and made by Riteway I believe.

Doesn't look like a typical flood car! Must have been light damage.

My 1937 Dodge 1/2 ton truck tube shocks were purchased from Roberts Motot Parts, another supplier of old MoPar parts. They might have shocks for the Plymouth. Or Kanter Auto parts, they advertise parts for all types of cars.

Try online at Rock Auto, it's surprising how many antique auto parts they list.

I found this paper with some other Model T info I have. For the years 1908-23 the serial number and production run time is shown. It may not be new data to the die hard Model T community but I thought by posting it here it may be of interest to others. Terry

Remember the Midas muffler commercial where the guy kept coming back with his 1920s car? I wonder if they still do lifetime warranties.

The type of battery in the golf cart is the determining factor on whether or not it can be saved. When I was young and poor there was a local company that rebuilt lead acid batteries and sold them at good prices. As mentioned, these were the tar top batteries where new plates could be put in. They were cheap and came with a two yr warranty that was just fine for my needs. Newer battery technology did away with this option. Perhaps a battery shop can determine if all are bad or if some can be salvaged. In motorcycles, where batteries were always a big problem due to their small size and the vibrations produced by the engine and road conditions, the introduction of AGM or glass mat batteries solved a lot of these problems. Batteries now lasted for several years instead of just one or two. Probably a similar design battery replacement is available for the golf cart.

Sorry, gummed up inside from old grease.

They are vacuum operated I believe, so you will first have to find where the vacuum originates and make sure that connection is ok and the metal or rubber line that feeds vacuum to the wiper motor is not loose or broken. If all that checks out then the switch or motor itself might be bad. Old vacuum wiper motors of get fumed up inside and need rebuilding. My first car was a 1951 Pontiac 4 door, dark green over light green, automatic and 8 in a row. Terry

Did you ever get that question from your significant other as you went out to buy "just this one more wrench"? I did, but it helped that my father-in-law was a Snap-On dealer so he had all the right come back lines to share with me. Anyway, he would have been a poor soul if our significant others had seen this list in a 1921 tool and garage supply catalog. It seems we only need about 5 to get the job done. The catalog is Waterhouse & Lester Co in San Francisco CA who also were known for making wood wheels on the west coast. Terry
