  1. Similar to the one that was on my 1937 Dodge PU. Terry
  2. Sorry to hear of your health issues. Beautiful rare car, good luck with the sale. Terry
  3. It's neat to see things like this and speculate on how it might be used. I have an old Snap-on battery charger that I inherited from my late father in law back in the 1990s. The wheels on it have wide white walls so I always call it my antique battery charger! Terry
  4. This instruction card from the Civil Defense tells drivers what they should do in the event of an air rade warning while they are driving. It was issued in PA during the Cold War years 1951-1955 based on the governor's name shown on it. I was a young lad during that time and vaguely remember when air raid drills were held and the traffic came to a complete stop during them. Hope you enjoy this little piece of history. Terry
  5. My son grabbed these photos on his way to work, a Ford Model A project in process. Take a close look at where it's parked! Yes THAT Tesla company! My son is a mechanical engineer on the Tesla Model 3 project. Terry
  6. I'm not sure why a person who has the lenses to sell would ask such a high price for them knowing there is only one chance in 444 to sell them. If those lenses were mine to sell I would be glad to sell them to you at a more reasonable price knowing that you would probably be the only customer in the world for them. Terry
  7. I preferred two wheel exploring on a variety of motorcycles, mostly smaller displacement like 250 cc in the early days and then 750cc later. Finding out what was around the next bend was a life long passion. I always enjoyed the mid size bikes as they made you work a little more to get the most performance from them and fuel costs were never an issue. I sure miss those days! Terry
  8. Thanks for cleaning it up Matt. They sure keep you busy!
  9. Part number on the tank looks correct for late 1930s. Terry
  10. Congrats on your find and for saving another 4 door! Terry
  11. The Metz is again listed in the local farming newspaper. For the first time a price is listed. $9000 firm. Contact info is the same. Terry
  12. Great photo and story! Terry
  13. Looks like a fantastic collection. Details on auction zip website under cabin fever auctioneers. Terry
  14. I think it's Hershey gardens / park from other photos I found. The family who had these photos had pictures of them at Hershey covering several generations. My wife and I have inherited the photos and much more. It has been fun digging through them. Terry
  15. My 37 Dodge truck had the door lock on the passenger side too for the safety reasons mentioned above. Terry
  16. These old cars were not yet antiques when this photo was taken at Hershey. Who knew it was a picture of things to come! Note parking in grass fields was popular even back in that day. Terry
  17. If it's any consolation my 2013 Dodge minivan doesn't like to run smooth at start up in hot weather. Acts like it's running too rich. Dealer can't find the problem as it gets better after a few minutes of running.
  18. Sure does look like a Nash! Thanks, John. Terry
  19. Can't seem to get a good match in identifying the auto in this picture. Looks somewhat like a Hupmobile, maybe a 1937, given the shape of the front fenders. Some features match and others don't. Any ideas? Terry
  20. Hood ornament looks different in photo than the 1942. Terry
  21. Another photo from a local estate find. Looks like this Buick might have done too much rockin and maybe a little rollin'. I think it's a 1947 model. Photo is not dated. Doesn't appear the car isa total loss. Terry
  22. Not mine!!! Found it in a local farming related weekly newspaper ad. It's been in this paper several times so I believe the owner is motivated to sell. Ad reads: 1915 Metz model 25 touring car. Had running. Good original condition. Will trade for nice original 730 John Deere diesel. Chester County PA. Ph 610-323-6959. Again, it's not mine and I have no connection to the seller. Just passing it along to anyone who might be interested in it. Terry
  23. Great collection of stuff! Wish I could be there.
  24. No designer would want his name associated with that contraption! Looks like a good inspiration for a carnival ride. Terry
