  1. Even without the 1940 grille its is not a senior Packard.
  2. It looks like you are going to need a big balance in your checkbook. I hope someone will restore it.
  3. It looks like you have a nice project there. Good luck. 41 Buick's are great cars.
  4. Something ain't right. This car should have a dual carb setup. It doesn't. I am not sure if it has its correct 320ci engine. Something looks off. You will spend another 25K or more getting this sorted in my opinion.
  5. Baker Lincoln in Putnam Ct was/is a supplier of Lincoln Continental parts had a building fire a number of years ago. Did they rebuild somewhere else? The location on Putnam Pike is vacant. Thanks
  6. I was 13 driving with my grandfather in his 1973 Ford LTD 4 door land yacht. Loved that car.
  7. I can't wait to read the book on the Willoughby Company.
  8. Why spend all that money on a new interior and not use the correct material or patterns? The real question is, why do the interior before all of the other things that need to be done first? I would have left the tattered interior the way it was.
  9. Hello Joe, Just looking on the forum to see if you have posted any updates on your P-A. I have enjoyed your postings of your cleaning so far. I hope the project is going well. I am on the hunt for my first P-A as well. Best wishes. Dennis
  10. Is there a good reason why sellers do not clean their car before placing an advertisement? Do they think they will get more interest and $$ with a dirty car? To me it shows a lack of attention which would make me feel they paid little attention to maintaining the car.
  11. What else does it need to say? With all of those details, I am surprised it hasn’t sold already. Lol
  12. Love those 70’s LTD’s. My grandfather had a new LTD every four years. I learned how to drive at 14 on his 1973. It was a great car.
  13. Why no engine pics if it went through a restoration? The two outside gauges look suspect.
  14. Ok. Just came in after snow blowing 20 inches of snow off of my driveway. It took 2 hours. I turned on BJ to find them auctioning a 1971 Chevy Blazer. It sold for 400K. Has someone lost their marbles? Its not even a classic.
  15. I will measure it tomorrow.
  16. Found this negative in a box of negatives. I estimate the car is early 1900-1905 or so.Not sure of the make. Also notice the low license plate number on the car. The picture was taken in Rhode Island at the home of the owner. Does anyone know the make and model of the car? Also, does anyone know where I may take a 100 year old negative to get a picture made? Thanks
  17. Looks like a Morel 41 with a replacement engine. Usually painted black. Looks like a lot of work on the interior, not to mention the need for a new steering wheel. If running well I can attest they are a great driving car. Good luck to the buyer of this car.

  19. Looks like this may have been the last ride for the year for the 1941 Special. Really sorry to say that. It is getting colder here and 95 percent of the leaves are down. Next week I will clean the car, check the fluids etc and put it to bed for the winter. The 1941 Roadmaster is already wrapped up for the winter. Hope spring comes early!
  20. Only 55% of Americans over 50 years old have a will. .....Get to it.
