  1. Nice day for a ride. It seemed like a lot of others had the same idea. Saw a Ford model A, 55 Cadillac and several 60’s cars. I took out number 2 son, Teddy, for a ride over the Scituate Reservoir Dam. We lost number 1 son, Bubba, to nasal cancer yesterday. I need a drive to take my mind off of it. He was a wonderful dog. He will be missed. I hope Teddy will as good a passenger as Bubba was. We will be off to Hershey this week to see friends and cars. That should help our spirits. Safe travels to those who are off to Hershey. North
  2. Just returned from taking both 41’s out for a ride. I took the Roadmaster out for a ride and discovered a car show going on across from the state police headquarters. Not sure who was putting it on. The cars were mostly modern except for the Edsel I met at the stop light. I then went home to pick up the Special. I took a ride on the back roads to Thompson CT. I saw a few antiques along the way. It was a great day for a ride. I couldn’t resist taking both cars out.
  3. Beautiful Fall day for a picnic. We drove to the Bridgetown area of the town my wife and I grew up for a picnic at the White Mill Park. It was built on the location of a former woolen mill. I remember the night when I was a kid when the mill burned to the ground. The night sky was red and the embers were flying everywhere. Most of the mills in the area suffered the same fate, except for my wife’s family mill which was recently converted into housing. We then took a drive to Wallum Lake and then home for ice cream.
  4. It is odd that it does not have a dual-carb setup. Looks like a good deal, but too much red for me.
  5. 1937 Packard All-Weather Town Car....Yes, you will definitely experience the weather with this model.
  6. Just got back from having a picnic lunch on the Woodstock, CT common, overlooking the recently restored clock tower on the Woodstock Academy building. It’s nice to see it restored and the clock working. Always a nice destination. Sometimes rather noisy with the stream of motorcycles driving route 169.
  7. Great day in New England for a drive. We went for a 122 mile drive to Sturbridge, MA for lunch at the Publick House.
  8. Another beautiful day in New England. The Roadmaster was itching for a drive. So we decided to take a ride to the Publick House in Sturbridge, MA. We ate lunch in the tavern, then traveled the backroads through Woodstock, CT. Then the car stopped for ice cream in Putnam, CT. We then headed home to celebrate our little boy, Teddy’s first birthday.
  9. Took a ride over the reservoir tonight. With it getting darker earlier, it doesn't give much time after dinner for a ride. Beautiful night for a ride.
