  1. My brother is looking for a Packard 120. He is interested in a 2 door car that is driven. He is not looking for a project car. He is looking or a car that does not have to be perfect but correct. If you know of such a car, please reach out to me. Thank you.
  2. My late buddy Bubba out for a ride to get ice cream.
  3. Is there any difference in 30W Non-detergent motor oil? Is there one that stands out better than the others? Are there any chemists out there that can shed any light on this? Thanks! I am using this in a non-rebuilt engine or 18 years.
  4. I was not a member of the Buick Club in 1989. I sure wish I had. I noticed in the book there were a bunch of kids at the meet as well. I hope they are active club members now. Another observation was the amount of cars in the attached picture.
  5. I saw one on eBay a couple of weeks ago for a Packard.
  6. Good luck on your restoration. I am sure it will be a fun project.
  7. I remember purchasing that book at the Vienna, VA national meet. He was a nice guy with a wealth of information. I love that book. I will keep my eyes out for another copy.
  8. I am looking or a picture of a pen and notepad for a 1937 Packard that would sit in the rear armrest. Thank you.
  9. I had already reached out to D&S Plating. They do not do bumpers. Thanks
  10. I can’t tell from the angle of the picture. Is there a rear bumper as well or two front bumpers?
  11. I have been trying to get quotes on rechroming bumpers for my 1937 Packard. I am not sure where to look after 3 local companies said they no longer have tanks to do that work. I am not looking to have to ship them. Thanks
  12. Happy New Year. Nice day here for a first ride of the year in my new classic. I saw a couple of 70’s cars out for a drive as well. It was fun to have her on the road.
  13. Don’t look for it. You may be disappointed to find it went to Australia like my 53 Oldsmobile super 88. I searched the internet by the VIN. Won’t do that again.
  14. Not mine. Classic car that would be the center of attention at a CCCA or CLC event! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1941-cadillac-62-18/
  15. Thanks Ed. The seller delivered the car to me. I thought I would see the back end of the car when he dropped the gate. I don’t plan on trailering this car at all. It was purchased to be driven. The way it should be.
  16. Arrival day pictures. Couldn’t be happier.
  17. Well after years of searching and driving several Buicks, PierceArrows and Packards, I found myself looking at a car slightly outside of the years I was originally looking at. The Buick 90 series proved to be elusive. The Pierce-Arrows I looked at were all beautiful cars, but a Packard stood out above the rest. The reason for this status was the fact that the car has been in the same family for 70 years. Included are maintenance records as well as the condition of the car as evidenced by the condition of the paint, interior and engine. Oh and it was fun to drive as well. My new car...1937 Packard Super 8 Formal Sedan
  18. Hello all experts. It’s been 5 years since the last entry on this thread. What if any options have changed? I just acquired a 1937 Packard Super Eight and I expect most of my driving would be 45-60 mph. Thank you!
  19. From the CCCA website: Packard 1947: all 2103, 2106, 2126 models;
  20. Great new topic. There are so many cars that look better with the tops down, not to mention the four door cars with the huge blind area. That is why I kept my top down.
