We got a nice 1999 grand marquis with 155k miles for $1400 back in 2009 for the wife’s daily driver/work commuter. She hated it at first! Wasn’t as cushy as the 1990 Lincoln TC… After a year she loved it… Fast forward 14 years and 256k miles, now my two oldest kids share it as their daily and joke it will be there sisters first car! Tires, brakes, ball joints, fuel pump and the intake manifold is all it’s wanted. And a p71 sway bar… We moved to the PNW and the rwd sucks in the ice and snow, but otherwise a great platform. I’ll be on the hunt for another CV or GM when the time comes! TP

Hi guys! This box was stashed with a bunch of antique 6V battery chargers, but when I opened it up it was obviously an early automobile tube radio part - AM tuner or receiver? Couldn’t find any markings or labels. The outside has a really cool art deco paint scheme. The inside uses an Eveready Raytheon er237 tube and others. I’ve got a slew of the dial/cable dash pieces stashed somewhere I’ll dig up soon, but none were obviously paired up with this unit. Anyone have an idea what maker and year? Thanks in advance!!

Hi, No unfortunately he was a little out of sorts with dementia… they did have it running in the coupe years ago, and he decided to put a v8 in it and keep the straight 8 for the convertible. TP

Hi, up for consideration is a 248 Buick engine and 5-bolt transmission. dual intake with 2 stromberg aerotype carburetors and air cleaner. starter, distributor and flywheel. no clutch or pressure plate. this was from the PO’s running coupe and it was destined for the convertible. It turns over smoothly but hasn’t ran with me. It was stored in a garage. $2000 for what you see in the pics. im in Portland Oregon.
