  1. There is no way to know the value until it is inspected. There are several fastback models listed in the NADA classic car guide, so you will need to determine exactly which model it is and and the overall condition to even start figuring a fair price. You might start by researching which fastback model first from the data plates on the car and then use a good guide to find a starting place for the price considering the condition.
  2. live about 1 1/2 hours north of Tampa in Ocala on interstate 75. I would consider holding it for you under a carport in a safe over 55 community. If this is not too far, please e mail me so we can discuss liability issues and condition of the car (oil leaks, appearance, registration, etc) and length of time. We also have restrictions but I can move my second vehicle to the overflow parking area freeing up a space for your car at the house. leelou2@cox.net
  3. The interior seems to be close to a 21 Overland. So i agree with Layden.
  4. Sounds like it is vapor locking. Check your fuel lines location to be sure it does not run too close to the motor or exhaust manifold causing the fuel to vaporize in the line. The longer you drive, the hotter the fuel becomes, thus it will run worse until you stop and let it cool. Very common on older vehicles.
  5. Downhill with a good tailwind and LOTS of prayers, maybe. Wonder how far it would take to stop that thing? Sure would not be a fun ride.
  6. could be from the same manufacturer with diferent faceplate for other makes. That would not be too unusual
  7. The W looks very close to what White Trucks used for years.
  8. The Tallahassee Automobile museum in Florida has the Tucker used in the movie and also the Studebaker modified to look like a Tucker that they wrecked for the the film. They also have a picture of Tuckers grandson standing with the car when he visited the museum a few years ago. I saw the cars in person just a few days ago on a visit there. They may have more info you could use.
  9. I had the pleasure of spending some time in the Tallahassee Automobile Museum today. For those who have not been there, it is well worth the time and admission to visit. They have about 140 cars ranging from a 1894 Duryea to 2001 plymouth Prowlers including Dusenberg, Auburn Packard, Cord, a Tucker, and many other interesting vehicles. Also exibits of old industral engines, boats and motors, farm impliments, knives, guns, and pianos and dolls for the ladies. Nice clean exibits laid out in sections for easy viewing.
  10. Second try http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/motorola_tm526atm_526.html
  11. Here are the specs for a TM526A. Could not find anything on the 528, it seems the last number is the number of transistors. 526=6, 527=7, no listing for 528 but it would seem to be the 8 transistor version of the model. I agree it seems to be aftermarket.
  12. Not easy to tell from the pics, but I would guess 51-52 Cadillac would be a possibility.
  13. I can't place it for sure, but seems like I have seen something similar on farm equipment. Some sort of protection guard.
  14. These guys have a lot of hard to find stuff. Might be worth a call. I know a guy who got some IH things from them that he was having trouble locating. http://www.northwesternautosupply.com/index.html Good luck
  15. Another idea, Studebaker was making Erskine cars about that time also. Could be an Erskine, and there are not many pictures of them that I have located.
  16. Here is another picture in a car without the wood trim. This is the only configuration for the gauges on a 25 Studebaker I have seen. You might post this in the Studebaker forum, below this forum, and see what responce you get there.
  17. The knobs look industral to me like for a tractor or backhoe. I do not think they go to a truck. Could be wrong.
  18. Might give these guys a call. Have heard they can find almost anything if they do not have it. Good luck on your hunt. Love those ole internationals. Had a 66 travelall for a long time.http://www.akhwheels.com/
  19. The car in the link is not the car in question. . The car in question has 2 side windows, not 4, and also has suicide doors. It may be similar to the gray car in the background though. CORRECTION, sorry, it may be the same car as the very last photo. I did not scroll down completely before answering.
  20. Thought about a 50 packard when I saw it, but there are some differences.
  21. Welcome Hope someone is interested. Beautiful car. What is the mileage?
