  1. that would be a fun rig to get running and safe to drive. Sure would draw attention at shows and parking lots.
  2. The built in headrests not required before 69, so I believe they are newer than that.
  3. Looks like early 40's Chrysler, Dodge, etc. Cant remember all the years but 41 for sure.
  4. The first item looks like the part that surrounds the parking light on a 1958 oldsmobile

    Pontiac Emblem

Looks like you nailed this one, 30 Dodge.
  6. As stated by the other guys, it is a 65 Cadillac.
  7. The only International 500 I know of is a crawler tractor. There were a few large trucks that were 5000's but any International truck parts store should have a way of ordering a booster for one of those. Are you sure of the 500 designation? Here is a pic of a International Paystar 5000. Not sure of the year but they changed very little. http://motoburg.com/images/international-paystar-5000-06.jpg
  8. What size is the STOP? It looks similar to the flashing light on the back of an old school bus, but I have a feeling it is smaller.
  9. Good looking car. What engine, tranny, mileage? Always loved the dash layout of the 56.
  10. Just spotted this ad. Thought some of you might like to see it. http://ocala.craigslist.org/cto/4599745363.html
  11. The only blue dots I have seen were aftermarket on 40s and 50s model cars.
  12. There is a museum on an old ranch in Wyoming that has a large art collection. It was owned by a man who had a Case dealership in the 20's. In a couple of the reviews it is mentioned to have a rare Case truck still on the property. One review had a picture of it and said it was a 1923. If interested, it might be worth a call to see what info is available http://www.bradfordbrintonmemorial.com/
  13. www.rockauto.com shows both carbs available for the 1977 304 engine. The 2300 is more expensive and has a longer shipping time. You might check with them to see what the difference is.
  14. That frame does look good. Congratulations! How is your parts search going?
  15. I think it is safe to say it is a 61 to 63 model. They changed very little during that period. Maybe someone can narrow it down from there.
  16. As of a year ago, the Studebaker used in the film was in the Tallahassee Fl. museum along with the Tucker. Possibly it has been moved since then.
  17. I have a red Dakota like yours with a Leer hightop shell on it. Good truck.
  18. Welcome, Sky. You will find a lot of friendly folks lurking here with a wealth of knowledge. I am not too familiar with your car, but I am sure others will be along shortly to help you. Also, if you scroll down below the General Forum, you will find a whole section devoted to Buick. You may want to post there also. Good luck with your project and keep us informed on your progress.

    Trunk Handle

Purely a guess, but it reminds me of a 49-50 chevy suburban tailgate handle.
  20. Not quite sure how the discussion about a rare car like the Custom Cloud turned in to a transmission thread......
  21. Hope someone can give it a home. I agree it looks too good to scrap. Parts, or rebuild, it has value. Just too far away for me.
  22. They were called Monte carlo Custom Cloud.
  23. Best I can remember, my 69 Dodge pickup had a similar gas cap.
  24. And the 64 f100 is the custom with the chrome dash, radio, etc. Hard to find the upscale trucks. Most were the old workhorse types.
  25. I enlarged the picture. The tan Frazer has a Nebraska historical license plate, As best I can tell, the last line on the door of the truck says York Neb.
