This would make a great parts car once the seller removes a zero or two from the price. 

Chrome and sheet metal look pretty good - and complete.

 

Do you remember that the exterior door latch buttons were quite the rage in the late '40's and early '50's? Most every custom Ford and Mercury had them installed. 

 

 

They are still available as repro hot rod and restoration parts. "How-to" installation videos, too.

Not my cup of tea but nothing wrong with it as a $1,500 project car like the old days. It might be worth $22,000 restored.
