Hans1965
Love the colors. But what had happened beside the right tail light? Rust throughs on the rear bumper? Hmmm Edited February 16, 2023 by Hans1965 (see edit history)

auburnseeker
Hope he got a deal on the carpet. Why would you put a gray carpet in that car? Looks like the padding instead of the carpet.
The 55er
Sometimes I think people are clueless or just inexperienced about how they should be presenting a car for sale. They know their car has some value and they want to make sure the pictures focus on its strong points like it still has the original hubcaps, the freshly repainted blue engine & new battery, nice inside door cards and rear seat. They feel the 70.000 mileage is low so they show several shots of that. The weakpoints like the worn-out front seat, missing headliner, rusty rocker panels and maybe a dirty and ugly inside trunk area are avoided completely. The rugs don't appear to be automotive at all, just the cheapest covering they could find from some (Dollar General?) store. As for the rainy day photography, time is of the upmost importance so they need to post the ad immediately, the faster they can sell their car the sooner they will have the money in their pocket. With all the people that will see this car worldwide on the internet, surely someone will be calling any minute now with $15K to purchase this Buick.

Century 4-dr. sedans don't come around very often. Rusty rear bumper lower rails are pretty common on these. 1
Marty Roth
Cheap-O tires? New Brake Pads? (wonder where they are located?) Paint quality masked by the rainy wet surface? What else is being hidden, besides the rust? Don't get me wrong, the 1958 Century and Roadmaster convertibles are among my Dream Cars, but condition, condition, condition !
