Graham Man
Sorry about the picture my son took it... Looks like at least 20 inch wheels heavy duty axles, guessing fire truck? Hoping someone can tell from the hub cap? I will try to get more pictures both front and rear axles are red.
Grimy
Need more photos, and the diameter of the hubcap across the flats.

Graham Man
I will get pictures, my friend passed, he has a huge collection of car parts, and a great eye. Family is only mildly interested in the parts, his 1904 Cadillac is up for auction soon... https://www.remlingerauctions.com/lot/1904-cadillac/ He was an excellent mechanic, held the speed record at Daytona for 30 years...so if it made it better he did it, he was not a historian or a body man. George Albright
Can I have a contact for the family. I’m interested in the early parts. Or pass my contact info to them. AHa
From the words on the hubcap, the two axles are obviously from a Pierce Arrow car. The Pierce Arrow is perhaps one of the best built American cars. Is the rest of the car there or just the axles?
Graham Man
Sorry about the wait... still has me guessing, 36 inch rims, lots of rim locks must have been a big car? Looks like it was converted to a wagon when my friend found it. Edited September 24, 2022 by Graham Man (see edit history)

There is a serial number stamped on the center section of the rear axle that will tell you the year, I think it might be on the bolt boss.
Graham Man
1922-5 Series 33? has the correct number of fellows, correct number of retaining clamps and correct number of bolts around the hub (6).
George Albright
I also have a friend looking for a 1904 Cadillac. Please get me the auction info on it. Thanks George Albright
54Coupe
Those would be 24" rims, and 36" tires.
Grimy
The speedometer gear appearing to be on the RF wheel, and the differential design, seem to make it no newer than 1920, the last RHD Pierce. As previously mentioned, the distance between the flats on the hubcap would be helpful.

Grimy
The 10-bolt wheels say BUS to me; even the 66 hp passenger cars had but six bolts. A 1917 66 touring of my acquaintance was outfitted with 10-bolt bus wheels circa 1937 because 37 x 5 tires were no longer available, and those wheels remained on it until the 2010s. Further, the 36 x 6 tires (24 inch wheel) are a puzzlement: high pressure tires used on Pierce passenger cars were 37 x 5 (27") and 35 x 5 (25"). I don't know of any 24" wheels used on Pierce passenger cars, but I could be wrong; if so, please enlighten us all.
