50's Pontiacs with Chief hood ornament

I'm looking for someone who has an early fifties Pontiac with an amber Chief's head.

I want to incorporate the ornament into a painting I'm working on. I'm not looking to buy, just need reference images.

If anyone knows of someone who might be willing to help, that would be much appreciated.

The one in the last picture labeled as a 1948 is actually a 1949.  1948 was a red plastic wing that did not light up.

To my view, the 1949 (labeled 1948) best portrays

the American Indian features and dignity.  As years

progressed, the Indian face became more stylized.

   These were so damn cool! My 55 Chieftan did not have one that lit up, as I guess it was the base model for the year. I have always wanted to get one & incorporate it into something I was building!

God bless

Bill

Bill, the illuminated chief was an option on a deluxe chieftain and also on the Star Chief when it came out in 54.

I think, but not absolutely positive that the 1955 Indian head mascot somewhere in mid production changed from amber to clear. Something to do with Gov. regs. Below is a clear 1955;

The 1956 Pontiac hood ornament below has no Indian head at all, and the mascot is like a Bomber jet, and they are all clear.

In 1957 there is no hood ornament, but the front fender wind splits or projectiles could be ordered with illumination. See below.
