1941 Chrysler Imperial - $19,995 NICE

Recommended Posts

Most guys who know me know I love Tans and Golds.  Especially from the streamlined era.  Beige-Tan-Golds.  This one appears to need paint, granted it's original.  You could leave it that way, but I wonder if seen in person if the paint would just be too tired and checked, scratched to live with.  It sort of appears that way in the right rear quarter photo.

I like the unusual too, although not necessarily a fan of the 1939 Mopar (and Hudson) brand of period styling.

I’ve never seen a Saratoga in person.  I have interior pieces from one that was rodded.  The door panels had additional upholstered moldings, that I don’t believe the imperials had.  If you look at the Fedco numbers, the weren’t many Saratogas made in 1939.

"Desert Beige" is the color. Color stylists have a whole pallet of shades (toners) to experiment with. I like this color more than I might otherwise. I think that it has some amount of yellow in it that makes it a little luminous or somewhat gold-like.
