Do you know the address of the photo?

Todt Hill is the high point and is a nice neighborhood, I wonder if the photo is off whats now Richmond Terrace?

Lots of local history at the S.I. Historical Society, enjoyed the Edison coverage of the launch of Kaiser Bill's yacht on Shooters Island in the early 1900s.

I thought the highest coastal point on the east coast was Cadillac Mountain in Maine?

That has always been my impression having biked through Acadia numerous times. Per the Nat'l Park Service webpage, "Cadillac Mountain is the major destination for visitors to Acadia National Park. Accessible by car, it is the highest point on the east coast of the U.S." (https://www.nps.gov/acad/learn/management/cadillac.htm) Thus this photo, if on Mt Desert Island, could be from one of the smaller villages such as Northeast Harbor....Having a Locomobile there makes some sense with the vast wealth which would visit each summer.
