This is an interesting picture.

Two future liners in one shot.

I got to see the one that Kindig restored, even got to climb up into the cockpit and sit in the drivers seat.

It was being stored in a warehouse at a dealership that I did some work for in Salt Lake City.

1949 and the very early 50's Oldsmobile was considered G.M.'s HOT car division. The 1954 F88 with it's 324" V-8 is the car G.M. should have given Oldsmobile the green light on instead of the six cylinder Chevrolet Corvette.😉

I had to Google the Future Liner.

I always thought they were built in the late 30s. And this Roadster next to it looked out of place.

After seeing what Pfeil refers to as an Oldsmobile next to the Liner I got curious.

Turns out GM made another run of them between 1953 and 1966.

It all makes sense now.
