victorialynn2
While doing some research on the Spyder, I happened along this video. Look familiar? Good to see it is well cared for.
John_S_in_Penna
The film appears to be professionally made. It almost sounds as if it was made for a local newscast. Now you have your father's truck preserved on video for prosperity!
Restorer32
Dad was in the tire business. His Ramp Side was great for transporting heavy truck tires.

They could park it on the front street, and when the rampside was lowered, the mowers were easily rolled on and off with no curb to hop. 46 woodie
John, the voice almost sounds like the guy that narrates the Motorweek TV show from Owens Mills MD. Very cool car.
JimKB1MCV
Very cool, indeed. And now I know what a 'rampy' is. Thanks.
victorialynn2
This was pretty cool to come across. Trying to find someone to get the Spyder running is proving difficult. Have contacted the President of the local Corvair chapter and it seems most people who work on them are also working full time. He’s willing to offer information and direction, I just have to find someone to take it on.
padgett
Too bad you are not in Orlando. I have lots of time & had many Corvairs.
36humpback
My dad had one of these when I was a youngster. I thought it was pretty cool, except for the fact you had no protection in a head-on.
padgett
True but were very easy to spin & have a rearender instead of a head-on.
