nickelroadster
It looks a lot like Delco starter-generator from the teens and twenties but does not seem to have the double ended armature. If it runs slowly I would think it is supposed to be a generator. If it runs with a fair amount of torque then it is probably a starter. Does the end with the big pulley look like it has been modified? It might be meant for some other industrial use other than a car. The pulleys also look to be used with big industrial belts. hidden_hunter
Doesn’t look like the model fitted to Cadillac’s in the late teens early twenties
Old buicks 2
Not a M/G Appears to be an early generator because "it runs slowly" Make unknown until we see the data plate.
Dave39MD
There is a plate, I think, between the two posts in the last picture. Seems to read Delco. Dave

Dean thatcher
The small pulley came off easy. The shaft is not round. Has two flay spots. The large pulley also came of easy. The shaft is cut for a woodruff key. Here is picture of the tag. Does not have a lot of torque. Thanks for the update.
