MargaritavilleBuick
Finally traded for a barn find dream car but it appears the interior is shot and some of it is missing. Do any of you guys who have restored one of these have a series of pictures I can use to begin planning my rebuild? Not sure if there was a shelf behind the driver/passenger seats....as well as in the trunk space. 3

kgreen
Wow, that's a beautiful car. Almost makes me want to trade out of the '40 and go back a couple years.
bhemi
Isn't the '36 the last year with wood in the interior framing? I own a '37 coupe and share quite a few parts with '38 is '36 a one off or does it share parts with '35? The three window design is gorgeous. Correct, on the wood, and pretty much nothing fits a `36 but a `36. Was also the first year without a hole in the roof. My `36 Buick Business Coupe, no shelf or back seat. 50jetback
Apologies for the quality but here are some interior shots of a 1936 Series 40 Coupe. The first 4 photos are from a restored car and shows nothing in the rear, just storage area. The last 3 are a different 1936 coupe supposedly original but has a shelf in the rear compartment. Jim Nelson
I lost the pix of you bring it home. You said it had a two tone paint on the '36' and some one said it was not standard. I have a '35' 50 series 'Vicky" with the two tone paint. It is pony Brown and Fraizer Lambs wool tan. Attached is my '35' with those colors. I like the colors. Jim Nelson
This color groupe is a standard color for the '35' 58 series. The car was available in two colors in '35'. This one and a Forest green.
MargaritavilleBuick
I would assume someone could special order a paint scheme, including two-tones. I am keeping mine as is because a paint analysis showed no signs of the car ever being one color.
Bloo
A picture of your firewall tag would nail down what it originally had for paint and upholstery. I don't know how to decode it but there are people in here who do know how. I wouldn't be in a big rush to paint it either, particularly if you like the colors.
