George Smolinski
I received a png file with a list of cars for sale. Under each car on the list is an app or website that has photos. It's not a direct link you can click on. I tried with no success to open the links. Can anyone maybe give me a hand? PM me if you can. I don't really want to broadcast this list until I see the car photos. Thanks in advance. SC38dls
Unless you know the sender very well if you download the app you may get a very nasty virus. Be careful. Dave S
tripwire
George, A .png file is essentially a digital picture. While it looks like a document like Word or a webpage it's not. Chances are it was a page that was scanned or saved from it's original format that allowed "clicking" So, if you want to navigate to one of those websites you'll have to type it into your browser's address bar. Good luck. WParo in VT
George Smolinski
Thanks to all that offered help. The photos are on Google & the guy sent me "invitations" to 2 of the photo groups. I'm waiting on "invitations" to the other 7 or 8.
Spinneyhill
A .png file is a bit map or raster image compressed with lossless compression. A .jpg file incorporates lossy compression, with losses determined by the setting when you save it.
mike6024
I've uploaded to Google photos. Actually forgot how to use it; had difficulty even seeing my own pictures. https://photos.google.com/

Does everyone get mine or does the link only play back when it recognizes a computer? Ben
DavidMc
I also get my photo album, not yours.
JACK M
I get some pics of some handsome family having fun on vacation. I don't think I have this kind of account.

Create Share Link Using Google Photos on the Web 1. Open the Google Photos website by going to the following link: photos.google.com 2. Once here, select the photos and videos you wish to share with anyone. 3. Once selected, click on the Share button on the top right hand corner. 4. Now click on Get link.
