auburnseeker
Seems odd you would find everything you want without juice brakes. Seems anyone who did all the other conversions, especially AC would have put juice brakes on before they even got to the step of AC . Might be a tall order. How many stock A's have been retrofitted with AC, Does anyone know?
TerryB
Can't imagine running AC on that small of an engine. Seems like it would really limit its speed and cause a lot of overheating.

Exactly 347 stock A's have been retrofitted with A/C. If you believe that, I have some old car parts to sell you.... Bloo
I would sure want some confirmation from an A owner who did it that it makes a good conversion.
Brass is Best
Many Stock A's have had AC added. I am told it only robs 4 horsepower. Here is an AC unit on a Model T and a Model A.
mercer09
Andrew, can you tell us what many means?
Brass is Best
More than a handful. Fairly common among touring Model A clubs. I have seen or heard of 30 or so. So I would have to guess that more exist.

mercer09
A nice pair of tan Cole Haan spectators sure would go well with the colors of that A..........
parrts
Nice '29 tudor in SW FL just fitted with a/c. Works well, almost too cold. Want to know have many? Call up the guy (Texas, I think) who makes the kits. He'll probably tell you how many he's sold. I can find out his name, if you're interested. Henry F. jpage
Why not just buy a hot rod? With all those mods it's no longer an old car. Just my opinion! The real fun in model A's is driving the original!
