RockitRiviera
Are we allowed to discuss future classics here? Because, WOW! http://www.buick.com/avista-concept-coupe.html I really hope this isn't another tease from Buick...and I hope they can bring this to market asap. 95Cardinal
I agree; it looks wonderful!I would gladly put one of these in my garage!
Jim Cannon
I have read speculation that it would be named Riviera in the production model, if produced. That would be cool!
Guest fuzz
That looks awesome!
Pat Curran
Sharp looking car but most concepts get watered down if they make it into production. The interior would most likely be modified but I really like the look of the car. It would be nice if the Riviera name was resurrected but I'm not convinced it will be. I think Buick has been re-inventing themselves over the past few years and a name linked to their past may not fit in with their marketing plan. Time will tell. RivNut
Maybe Liviera, or Eiviera. Seems like all of the Buick names recently begin with an E or an L. Ed
John_S_in_Penna
It is a good-looking car, though, other than the grille,is it distinctively and recognizably a Buick? The side profile is like that of many newer cars on the road.I see "Ford Fusion" in the taper of the headlights,in the forward-sitting grille, in the rear-quarter windows, and in the side profile overall. RivNut
I agree with "other than the grill." Needs a waterfall grill to be more recognizable.
jscheib
Ed, How about riviEra? And they seem to be phasing out the waterfall, I think. John.
RivNut
Of the six Buick models offered for 2016, only the Casada doesn't have a waterfall grill. The grill on this concept and the Casada look very similar.
msdminc
The Cascada looks like it has an Opel grill. I think it is made in Poland too. Rock On gord
ASUIN93
Great looking car. I do hope they use the Riviera badge since all the other US manufacturers are going resto. Even throw in a GS option similar to the Cadillac VTS model.
Pat Curran
Buick is more Opel today than it is Buick. The Cascada is based on an Opel and the current Regal is a re-badged Opel Vectra. I have a Regal and it rides, handles and feels like a German car.

Guest dwhiteside64
Sorry guys, but it's still the common "egg shaped" design that practically all car companies are marketing at the moment....why do you think the Dodge Challenger is doing so well? It's a departure from this over used aerodynamic concept and actually "looks right" in the process. Most of them have the V-6 option and are selling like hotcakes, so it's not all about the Hemi.... John_S_in_Penna
Sorry guys, but it's still the common "egg shaped" design that practically all car companies are marketing at the moment.... I agree, Darren. The concept car looks nice, but thosesame styling cues are on many cars these days. The dogleg in the rear quarter window was used for yearsby BMW until many other cars started adopting it.That dogleg is today's fad: look at today's cars andyou'll see how many have adopted that. Thankfully, this concept is a 2-door car; I hope it has generousback seat room so one's passengers can enjoy the ride.I wish it broke new ground in style, beauty, and grace.
