EARLY 60s RAGTOPS

There is just something about a Convertible. Riding around on a nice warm day with the top down with the wind blowing though your hair. You just can't help but fall in love with one. Ragtops Forever! Dandy Dave!

Maybe a '59 could squeeze in:

Back in the 60's a spoiled kid from down the street would regularly thrash his daddy's 59 Invicta. The U-turns brought back some memories...flying fins and howling tires. Thanks, Willie

This reminds me of my brother's birthday a number of years ago...I think he turned 43...I made a snide remark about him hitting his mid-40s and he argued that it was still "early" 40s.

Here's the very patient '61 Invicta known as Vicky. It had been in storage for a number of years and we were hosting a garage tour, so it got a sponge bath. That is nearly 5 years ago...the boys have grown considerably.

That lead 60 is an Invicta custom. I'm wondering if they all were the customs???

You are correct, the lead car is an Invicta Custom:

There may have been more than one Custom convertible, but it looks like there were several Invicta converts, a flat top and an Electra 225 Riviera. I wonder what became of the Lloyd Faddis car?
