Missing both spindle nuts. They are 5/8-20 thread 3/8" high and 1" hex. The 5/8 thread on the spindle measures .625 o.d. with a dial caliper. Have a hex die and tap. The die will not start on either spindle. Apparently the o.d. the old thread is larger than the die. Just wanted to run the die on the threads to confirm good threads. The new tap will probably be undersize also. So how do I get two new hex nuts threaded so as to fit the spindle bolts? Thanks in advance. Charley

Ed, you must be referring to another JUST ME on the board! My 1913 Cadillac is a five passenger touring. However there is a six passenger touring a friend has about 15 miles from here. Send me a pm with what you are looking for and I'll get the information you seek. Most early manufacturers called their touring car with jump seats a seven passenger. Cadillac called their touring with jump seats a six passenger. The rear body section was narrower for two people not three like the five passenger. That's how it was explained to me. 2008 Prius with the check engine light on. Code read at AutoZone bad catalytic converter. Sales associate at AutoZone recommended using a bottle of Cataclean before replacing the converter. Anyone here ever use Cataclean? Thanks in advance Charley

Thanks Ed for reminding me of this thread. Ohio first required automobile registration in 1908. In 1910 Ohio license plate #406 was assigned to H. Coulby Rockefeller Bldg Cleveland for a Chadwick serial number #103 60 HP gas powered automobile. Charley Kulchar

My friend Dave located the remains of a 1910 Kenmore 2 cylinder automobile. He found the engine, radiator, hood, steering column, and planetary transmission. He would like to know the following. Did any other automobile manufacturer use this exact transmission? How does it operate? Any idea of how the linkage would be attached and to where? There was a complete air cooled Kenmore sold a few years ago at auction. Anyone know the whereabouts? May have the same transmission. Thanks in advance. Charley
