  1. John, good luck. Yes I viewed the photos. I believe the car came out of the Reynolds museum in Canada years ago. Might even have some photos of it. I am told the 1914 and 15 Cadillac shared the same touring body. Only the dash was different due to 14 being right hand drive and 15 left hand.
  2. Hi John Do you have some questions I maybe able to help with? Charley

  5. D2R Don mentioned the fender skirts were on the car when he purchased it. He removed them. Liked the car without them. The fender skirts go with the sale. https://photos.app.goo.gl/HoaXNoDGu4SRjaK89 Rear fender-rocker panel area. Link above.

  11. Gentlemen While buffing the brass running board trim for our Buick the Baldor buffer expired. It was a 1800 rpm, 3/4 hp, single phase motor. These are recommended for 8" wheels. Looked online for a replacement and located a few 3600 rpm Baldor buffers. I mostly buff brass and copper. Would one be a better choice than the other? Thanks Charley
  12. Great job Billy! Thanks for taking us along. Best Charley
  13. Missing both spindle nuts. They are 5/8-20 thread 3/8" high and 1" hex. The 5/8 thread on the spindle measures .625 o.d. with a dial caliper. Have a hex die and tap. The die will not start on either spindle. Apparently the o.d. the old thread is larger than the die. Just wanted to run the die on the threads to confirm good threads. The new tap will probably be undersize also. So how do I get two new hex nuts threaded so as to fit the spindle bolts? Thanks in advance. Charley
  14. Peter Wishing you a speedy recovery! Best Charley
  15. My five passenger touring has a split front seat. Two in the front and three in the back. Charley
  16. Ed, you must be referring to another JUST ME on the board! My 1913 Cadillac is a five passenger touring. However there is a six passenger touring a friend has about 15 miles from here. Send me a pm with what you are looking for and I'll get the information you seek. Most early manufacturers called their touring car with jump seats a seven passenger. Cadillac called their touring with jump seats a six passenger. The rear body section was narrower for two people not three like the five passenger. That's how it was explained to me.
