  1. The 55 gallon barrel fan shroud. That extra long ribbed corrugated Colvert storm pipe. I remember 59-60 Chevrolets have a extra long fan shroud.

  3. The not mine section is the one I look at every day. It is fun reading peoples comments and analysis. I have learned a lot about different cars from this section. Don’t buy the Studebaker if it has the first curved windshield. And it is damaged.
  4. Just because the truck is vertically challenged and has a posture issue. That is no reason to harbor bad feelings and be judgmental towards it. Can’t we all just get along.😂
  5. My best of show pick is the sea foam green truck/pickup
  6. Keep the part and use it as a starting point. Continue collecting parts one at a time. Windshield, driveshaft, California frame, bumpers, hood latch and before you know it. Years of your life have gone by. And you are sitting on a bunch of junk. Screw it to the wall. Mount a bottle cap opener where the clock went. Pop the top on a yummy micro brew. Turn some music on, and do some car stuff.
  7. If they were driving a Hudson, they might have gotten away.
  8. If grounding to the chicken wire. You might get the effect of a radiant heated floor.😂 I have noticed the headliner is warm to the touch. When my dome light is on.🤔
  9. Indigenous children did not share that same experience. Always good to recognize and see history from all angles. Looks like you had a good childhood. Fun growing up outside with very little boundaries. Always something to do.
  10. Looks like it is fused and powered straight off the amp meter. Power should be at dome light. With switch on dome lite controlling it. Bad ground, fuse, bulb or switch. Also clean connection point/terminals on power supply. Corrosion is another reason for loss of power. Resistance builds heat.
  11. A stock wiring diagram will tell you. Switch should turn it on, and most likely turning the head light switch. Or some other switch the driver could do while seated in the car.
  12. Another car from the same seller. This is a eight cylinder Hudson coupe. These are nice cars. https://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/d/greenacres-1938-hudson-coupe/7505677542.html
  13. There is a lot going on with that car design. Every part of it is like it’s own design. Buying a nice clean original one is the way to go. A restoration would get very expensive.

  16. I know Hudson/Terraplane offered a utility coupe. And I have heard that Sears had a bed you could order for Chevrolets. Is this a aftermarket bed, factory option, or something someone made? https://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/d/foresthill-1937-thru-42-gm-chevy/7495389855.html
  17. Packard 120’s are pretty far down the Packard food chain. Packard had some heavy hitters in their line up.
  18. Great cars, you better have a Chevron gas card. If it is to be your daily driver.

  20. What ever paint you decide to go with. Stick with their product line. If you use PPG paint, use their compatible primers and surfaces. Lots of choices out there. Also ask the paint supplier for a cut/spec sheet on the paint. It will tell you compatible surfaces to use. As well as mixing, temperature, flash times and number of coats. I have a laser thermometer that tells you the surface temperature. Get the surface temperature in the recommended temp range for the products you use. Follow the flash times. Recommended by the manufacturer. I have used the hot rod black that they sell. Had nice results with it.
  21. Two tone looks a little different from cars I have seen. Upper color on cowl goes all the way across. Going by the wiper bases. Does go to a point by the hood. Not sure if upper color came all the way down the back?
  22. I looked at this listing the other day. Not a bad starting point. Just tough selling 46-47 sedans. Condition and location are big factors in the sale.
