  1. Hopefully you will get a quart of trans fluid and keep it around and add when needed.
  2. It's a sealed system, it had to go somewhere...
  3. Looks like you dodged a bullet, good for you. If it refused to shift I would guess you are about 2 quarts low, so is it a bad pan gasket, rusted transmission line?
  4. Ed, It's not that hard. Go on Ebay and get the r12 fill hose as the clamping is different on an r12 system then the r134. Then take Seafoam up on his offer of R12 cans. [I myself have about 12 cans that I bought a few years back when R12 was cheap. I even bought an R12 gauge set]. What you will have to do first on your '90 is disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes to clear the codes. Then hook up the hose [with the can attached but the valve off]. Then start the car, make sure the temp is set at lowest cold and highest fan setting and open up the valve and hold the can upside down until it is empty. You probably only need one can. But if Seafoam has a couple extra take him up on that. As was mentioned earlier probably the front seal on your compressor has started to leak. I have been told that is common on GM cars.
  5. Not me. I watch it for Sally Fields and a little bit of Burt.
  6. Go one ebay. They have cans and recharge hoses.
  7. Where did our girl go? I have more grease on my hands!
  8. I stopped in that yard to pull parts on my way back from Texas [to Wisconsin]. I didn't see the sign about no cash refunds as I wanted to just test the IPC [CRT was already gone]. I took a quick look and think that Padgett is correct with his description. The engine was stock...
  9. Padgett is referring to the ALDL and not going through the CRT or Speedometer [depending on the year Reatta you have].
  10. In my situation the pump was fine, but the motor burned up. Gave it to 2seater.
  11. I had an issue similar to that on the Red. Turned out to be the pump and motor. Jim Finn may have one. [reatta60@gmail.com]
  12. Don't buy a rebuilt unit, you probably don't need one. Go to the "Reatta Owners Journal and along the top of the page you will see "How To" click on that and you will read on how to flush and bleed your brakes as well as how to test for the issue you are dealing with.
  13. Electric Control Unit [Now called Electronic Control Module] for a Chrysler Town and Country Double over Head cam 16 valve engine.
  14. Go to the Reatta page on this web site as all Reattas from 1988-1990 had this system.
  15. No I just forgot to wash my hands...
  16. You are probably low on freon. However you should go the the "Reatta Owner Journal website as there is a "How to" tab on the top of the page. It will have how to read the codes, what the code means and how to interpret what is going on. Otherwise for what you are doing your '93 manual should work for the '90. Also you can probably get r12 freon on e bay as well as a gauge kit for r12. You will also need a special fill hose for the r12.
  17. The Cadillac Allante uses our struts. But good luck finding any rear struts as they are discontinued.
  18. I looked it up on www.car-part.com and they say it will work.

    He's back

Glad you're back. You were missed...
  20. No problem at all. Just have a garmin or GPS to track your speed. Otherwise getting a ticket makes that speedo pretty expensive...
  21. Look at the top of the page under "Reatta Parts Venders" He is the first one listed.
  22. I agree that the state regulates the price to the home or business but I am quite confident that their is no provision for a resell of that electricity.
  23. Did you try Jim? Support the guys who support us...
  24. Here's another way to do it without a aftermarket harness.
