take some tissue paper and put it on the switch area and also put it under the reservoir and then watch to see where the leak is. There are two seals between the master cylinder and reservoir. On mine there was a very slow leak that only presented itself over the winter when the tank would bleed to almost empty.

I'm surprised you are looking at another brass era car after what you went through with trying to get/keep it running and then selling issues with your last one.

Do a search from a poster named "snowdrift". He did the exact same thing. Long series of posts but Ronnie walked him through it. I know it worked and I ultimately bought the car.

I'm betting on the O2 Sensor.

Whenever I did the Delco upgrade I had to use an adapter plate. The plate has the 3 bolts out the bottom to mount to our bracket and then the 6 threaded holes for the coil bolts to go through. I believe they cam off early '90s GM cars with the Delco ignition. Depending on the GM brand I guess it would be 1990 to 1994. The bolt that is used to mount the Delco ignition module coil pack requires a 7/32" socket. I do not know what the bolt diameter or thread size is. Then a 7mm socket for the ignition connector.

My Reatta was always blowing max cold. The door actuator wasn't working correctly so what I ended up doing was remove and replace the connector plugs on the BCM which is located behind the glove box. Spray contact cleaner on them as well.

$500.00 is cheap. Reatta windshields are $1800.00 each.

Mine's pretty obvious. Dave and 1989 Reatta, first "old" car I bought and 17 years later still have it!

Eldorado rotors

Best 12 volt LED lights ever are the brand called Truc-lites. Installed them in my car years ago and are perfect for all season driving. The come in all shapes and sizes and now have a heater for snowy conditions. Not cheap but wet worth it.

I did the rear brake conversion using the 1996 Cadillac Eldorado. Went to the local you pick got 2 passenger side calipers with the Emergency Brake bracket. Easy swap with no need to swap cables. Make sure you get the springs on the Eldorado EB cable. They are different. Used the you pick yard calipers at Advanced Auto as they were running a promotion. Remember passenger side only. Brake hose also from Eldorado, but I can't remember which side as one was longer then the other. Didn't do the swap because of increased stopping power I did to avoid brake rattle. Not my idea, McReatta did it and passed it on to me.

I know it doesn't count but I was just gifted this week my 93 year old mother's 2014 Buick Verano with 44,xxx miles. She was told by her Dr to quit driving. first vehicle I was ever gifted.

2seater, my friend Bob removed that elbow first try years ago, but I can't remember what he used or how he did it. When Kendall and I swapped out the gaskets for the reservoir we used a spray can tube taped to a hand pump vacuum and got most of the fluid out. The tube is small enough to fit through the strainer.

That strange wire is used to run the Boze system found on a Riv. Did a dash swap and used the wrong plug. Stereo didn't like that much...

The 88/89 IPC have push in and pull out bulbs. Not so for the 1990/91.

Better check again. I believe they are soldered in place. Jim Finn would know for sure.

Ship is correct. There are more 1990-1993 Rivs out there that use the same switch as the 1991 Reatta then there are 1990 Reattas that are a one year only Reatta only switch.

The reason why no one has responded is that you are asking the same people over on the Reatta Owners Journal.

I agree with Ronniw. The car believes it's in "accessories" which is why it defaults to the radio page. The radio page is the only page you can read when the car is in accessory. You might have an ignition switch problem as well.

With a dealership that looks that great it has to give good service after the sale. Can I buy the first car?
