  1. "cheapie"?..... Hard to believe! An early genuine GM accessory radio looking complete. 1937 +\- were mounted in dash. I'll look up that model #136.
  2. Hi, I added in this dash photo from one of your earlier posts. For me, it's the best clue so far for ID. In spite of that the long discarded upside down wreck remains a mystery. I've come up empty after looking at "usual suspects"; Buick Dodge Chrysler.......& many more! no match with dash. Here are some observations: I'd say it's 1922 to 1926. Car was a substantial one, appearing well built but uncommon. Most dashes of the 20's had that 2 lever device which is likely for headlight & Ignition, not many had it on driver (left) side most were centered. Maybe use a stiff paint brush to wipe face, anything printed? Sagefinds mentioned "Patterson". That make ended prod. in 1923. Found a 1922 Patterson online, dash was getting close but no match. I might suggest bringing along a leaf rake to use around the wreck, with luck, there might be a brass badge or data plate, even a screw-on hub cap. Most cars had a data plate typically mounted on the firewall.
  3. A look alike is for sale on eBay, but with the set screw midway again, different that yours. What's helpful is the seller gives a measurement of his at 7/8" long, is yours 7/8" or something different? https://www.ebay.com/itm/385576023320?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=385576023320&targetid=1645685073568&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=1018278&poi=&campaignid=20133407470&mkgroupid=147476396765&rlsatarget=pla-1645685073568&abcId=9312979&merchantid=6296724&gclid=CjwKCAjwhJukBhBPEiwAniIcNTO2u9o-u2TZL4QksocWnN0CIhhh8vbFmB_daGDFmClhDrrhdku0jhoC1l0QAvD_BwE
  4. It looks like they are an After Market option from the 60's. Here's a pair for sale on eBay with more description: https://www.ebay.com/itm/224269988246?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=224269988246&targetid=1645685073288&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=1018278&poi=&campaignid=20133407470&mkgroupid=147476396765&rlsatarget=pla-1645685073288&abcId=9312979&merchantid=114794369&gclid=CjwKCAjwhJukBhBPEiwAniIcNZNmc2i5-aX1TLbr-ksI2yMHi0PAJnqhd0_Of52xKxggoYC-_XKf1hoCO_sQAvD_BwE
  5. Was it found in the USA? or ?
  6. This should nail it down: https://www.caddydaddy.com/1941-1942-1946-1947-1948-1949-cadillac-series-75-limousine-rear-upper-courtesy-light-housing-with-lens-1-pair-used-free-shipping-in-the-usa.html
  7. This looks like it could be your light. It's a interior shot of a 1942 Cadillac Fleetwood 75. Updated post: Added a better 1947 Cad 75 interior view showing 2 lights.
  8. 3rd photo: Can just make out "Autolite". Is there a part number along that edge where screws mount? That's usually the location to look for p/n's. ( for reference on Delco horns, there's often a 4 digit # stamped along that edge)
  9. To avoid confusion, better start a new post for a different item.
  10. When approved by the U.S. patent office, a patent date is issued for a new and useful improvement. It doesn't have anything to do with the date the improvement is put to use.
  11. This is a view from a 1966 Volvo 122s. "Volvo" chrome script can be seen on the horn button.
  12. This picture looks like the dash on the left. It's of a 1932 Franklin Airman Sedan, the same '32 Franklin I used earlier to post a photo of its tail light. So it seems we have the remains of 2 Franklins under that bench.
  13. Update: I added another photo showing what looks like the same light on a 1932 Franklin. The photos: 1930 Marmon (Purple PA lic. Plate) 1932 Franklin (Black car) added.
  14. Photo shows what looks like your light on a 1930 Marmon. Also here's a view of the backside. You say you have "4 lights" but I'm only seeing 1. Need a photo of the backside too. Update: I added another photo showing what looks like the same light on a 1932 Franklin. The photos: 1930 Marmon (Purple PA lic. Plate) 1932 Franklin (Black car) added.
  15. Since a Dort was mentioned, there should be a 5 to 6 digit serial no. stamped on top of the frame. Described in the Brigham Serial no. book: "on top of frame opposite lamp bracket, left hand side, behind engine." If there's a readable s/n there the Brigham Book will have the year and model Dort.
  16. 1939 Canadian Dodge (has the gold motif). according to this item on eBay. Not seeing this style on USA made '39 Dodges. https://www.ebay.com/itm/124497483038?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=124497483038&targetid=1645685073288&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=1018165&poi=&campaignid=16730423415&mkgroupid=135815925780&rlsatarget=pla-1645685073288&abcId=9300841&merchantid=6296724&gclid=CjwKCAjw9pGjBhB-EiwAa5jl3Dvtn018HRYd_q2gIJk-FVy23Iyix7F8mxJsWHUoDG-of3eo0fmsyhoCrUgQAvD_BwE

  18. I found it online. It's specified for 1936 - '50 Cadillac. Here's the link with a few more photos: https://www.johnnylawmotors.com/mi/F7J8cOCV/1936-50-cadillac-oil-filter-dress-up-remote-mount-cooler-cover-scta-hot-rod a
  19. The radiator looks like Roamer, "the poor man's Rolls" but I'm not finding the body. Notice the unusual treatment or design at the top of the LH door. Custom body maybe?
  20. Easy to dive in and not follow through, Maybe was once a decent driver. Like the dash color.
  21. Those look like it! Thank you.
  22. Only clues: Ford service parts, someone wrote "65 or 66" in pencil on back. No part numbers. Can't match online. Thank you for figuring how this kit was used. white parts are tough plastic or nylon.
  23. It's a early Cadillac tool kit wrench. They marked their tools. Here's a description of one similar to yours: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/antique-1910s-cadillac-tool-kit-542958994
  24. They were a topic here a couple years back: https://forums.aaca.org/topic/354954-original-garwood-fender-skirts-for-1933-1934-fords/
