  1. I think your trunk might be for a REO. Similar ones are seen on 1927 to 1931 +or- These photos are of a 1929 and a 1931 Flying Cloud. (rag in fuel filler).
  2. Hi, Are you interested in the '65 Buick Electra bumper? I still have it.
  3. These are listed for '57 Chev at the Danchuk website. There are other examples illustrated.
  4. The rumble seat step seems a better match on the '31 Olds. Note top of the Buick's radiator has a protruding hump, Olds doesn't. Maybe you can see difference in your photo. You're right that '31 Olds was/is a good catch. Good Luck.
  5. I'm going with 1931 Olds. https://autograf.cars/auctions/1931/Oldsmobile/
  6. Sorry, too little detail. Only hope might be city tax records of the period for owner & address, if they exist and are accessible. ca 1912 looks right.
  7. Close but we haven't accounted for bolt slot adjacent to backup light opening.
  8. Thanks Xander, Did I see wall space for 'em in one of your Chrysler Coupe shots? I'd go for the panels if I wasn't in inventory reduction mode. Loving your Hudsons. Our family car was a '46 from '47 to '51.
  9. Didn't we just pass April 1? The Cad reminds me of a '41 Convert a man in town (MA) was offering for $20K. Complete & untouched and in need.
  10. Thanks Xander, that's great, but can I have the Hudson instead? 😃
  11. We've got it cornered. How about this MB 220?
  12. Re: hood sides. I see a couple screws holding the air intake buffer. A thread gauge could confirm SAE or Metric.
  13. These hood sides are tough, they surely don't appear in Jim Maloney's book of American cars 1930-1942. Truck maybe? no luck there either. Unlike most sides of that type, there's no lockdown mechanism, instead, gravity and the hood hold them in place.

    Hubcap ID?

After market for rodding your 42 to 48 Mercury. Outer rings match that period Merc.
  15. Haven't nailed it! but it's worth mentioning an old forum discussion about a '34 Buick Hood Ornament referred to Ternstedt p/n T-29726, surely "in the ballpark" for op mystery latch with Ternstedt p/n T-29799. Making the search difficult: 1. GM documented their own (different) p/n's for Ternstedt made items. 2. Documentation or cross reference info for Ternstedt products appears to be non-existent.
  16. The red Caprice is 1986. Grille pictured here is from a 1985 brochure. Note the red Caprice's (1986) hood ornament is more forward and flatter, where the '85's is raised. Also, there are differences in grilles and surrounding trim between '85 & '86. Reference: http://www.oldcarbrochures.com /static/NA/Chevrolet/1986_Chevrolet/dirindex.html
  17. Here's confirmation for the GM - Ternsteadt logo visible on reverse side of the mystery handle.
  18. Bobitybob62, is there any anything else associated with the photo? Any text on back? any knowledge? names? Clothing looks like early 70's. Car is surely a scaled down model.
  19. It's a '36 Plymouth Kornkurt, Dodge's 1st cousin. That Plymouth ignited my passion for all vintage cars back in late 50's.
  20. Thank you Matt, looks like you got it. Maybe we're looking at the remains of a mid 50's Dodge Truck or Bus. Unusual that it retains its original air cleaner.
  21. Was thinking possibly a truck? Anyone know? Thank you.
  22. Lamps & axle on Pierce look like a good match, but not hub caps.
  23. Good eye on the mid hinge location Keiser. I'm now suggesting the doors are 1925 Buick Master Six. Next photo pair are 1925 Buick Master Six. (2 different '25 Master 6's)
  24. Left & Rt rear doors for 1923 Buick Model 23-Six-47. Specifically this model with loop handles & exposed hinges
  25. Found FA-158 on page 231 of the M-N online '56 ver. catalog for 1951 - 1954 Kaiser. When searching inside catalog use quote marks on search word such as "FA-158".
