  1. Actually, there is nothing worse than a golf shirt.
  2. I get all of this, but clearly the pics were taken before disassembly and sanding. When you have a Baggie with shims in it, that you took off and swore you would remember what "two up, 1/8" then washer" means two years from now.
  3. I really like the way you marked the body with notes before disassembly, rather than writing it on a Baggie. Great idea. Stolen idea.
  4. BTW, Willie made me buy this pair at some Nationals, after telling me my T-3's weren't correct. I will say that these cost only slightly less than the repro T-3. As far as finding some, pretty slim chance. Like Old Tank said, just use non halogens, or buy mine for $250 after I have the convertible judged...
  5. I used a T-3 on my Special and nobody noticed...BUT, Otis supposed to have a black glass back. If I think of it, I will take a pic tomorrow.
  6. Ahh, now we know where your calling came from.
  7. Of the five I have in the garage right now, the general consensus is an inch or two beyond (toward the center of the car) the wire retaining clip. They are all literally different, even my restored car is different from side to side. I am having trouble with photobucket so I can't take a pic.
  8. This should have said water pump pulley. This way you don't have to line up the holes with the pulley, spacer and fan blade. It's not hard to do with the radiator and shroud out of the car, but I hate those bolts when bent over the radiator.
  9. Flashers are cheap and even available at the national chain stores next to all of the Armor All products and Pacific rim tool choices. I have switched all of my cars over to the solid state flashers. I don't have a part number, but my car had three prongs and I bought the one with three prongs. It's about $10-15, and seems to be less affected by generator voltage drops (doesn't slow down at traffic lights).

  11. Oh yeah. Buy some studs (then use nuts) for the water pump. You'll be happy that you did.
  12. Detroit Eaton Springs can make you some lowered front springs. My wagon has two inch lowered in the back and one coil out of the front. It certainly isn't as extreme as you went, but everything still works. Just more of an FYI. Carry on...
  13. I love the quote. I'm gonna ask if I can use it, though it doesn't mention being the top car on a four post lift, so you'd have to use a ladder to even open the door...
  14. He's good at it. (I sent him the pic, ya know)
  15. Your scripts are in the mail Might send the other taillight, just cuz they're getting scarce.
  16. http://nailheadbuick.com/how-to-install-a-rope-seal-correctly This is a good article. He also sells the parts. Either one you decide after reading the article.
