2. I had a problem with my 61. Believe it or not, it turned out to be fouled spark plugs. The car ran fine but I was in a parade and had the problem. Take a look at them and make sure that they are not gummed up. Be sure to check all of them as there were only 2 of 8 that were bad if I remember correctly. My car had A/C but I was not using it.
3. Try also to post this on the Olds forum (if you have not) that you will find below the AACA.
4. Steve, I understand next week on the Bachelor that he goes picking with his lady friends. You and your wife can both watch it together.
5. Need 1917 Chevrolet "490" transmission, Connecticut Distributor-Model 16, and any other mechanical spares for the "490". I am posting this for a friend who needs the above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

7. 1955 Oldsmobile 324 V8 Engine Specs is a website with information. 1955 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Technical Specifications and data. Engine, Dimensions and Mechanical details. (98) | Conceptcarz.com also. Also, I have a 56 shop manual someplace that I could copy the specs if this is not enough. I believe they are the same. I hope this helps.
8. Try www.fatsco.com for the parts. I have used them in the past and have had great results. Also, just to note, I do know the owner as he is in my car club, but I did not deal with him on any of my transactions.
9. Waine, ur speeling lookes good to mee. Kep upp the wurk.
10. I have used Mike Fusick for over 20 years and have had no problems. He and Dave have been very helpful over the years. The parts have been as advertised and delivered promptly when ordered and always ready when picked up some place such as Hershey or Carlisle.
11. Go to your local NAPA. They show they have them online so you should be able to get them at your local store or, for that matter, any local auto parts store should have them or can order them for you.
12. I do not remember one at Hershey offhand. However, if you go to Carlisle the week before, I know there is at least one glass vendor.
13. The below web link lists the color for 1929 and it also says that it will make paint for any color in four different types of paint. I hope this helps. AutoColorLibrary Color Chip Selector
14. I looked in rockauto.com and they showed only 7 pound caps for a 1954. No mention of AC. Also, the same with napaonline.com so you should be ok with the 7 pound as neither site asks about AC.
15. Color Chip Selection shows the names of the colors for 1936. Also try here: CarPaintOnline.com - Automotive Touch Up & Original Factory Paint. ???txt.title??? includes the colors. For some reason this does not give the URL but if you click on it, it will take you to a Dupont color listing. This should meet your needs.
16. I am sorry Mr. Goldfinger. We thought you wanted it in silver.
17. There is a 61 Olds group on yahoo. Also, drop me your email at olds61@hotmail.com and I can give you details and some vendors to help you.
18. Thanks, I will drop him a line. I just got back from a little vacation.
19. I am interested in Joomla. However, I have been waiting for Peter to load it on the AACA web site.
20. Try Mike Fusick as he had them for my 61 as they have stopped producing them for my car. He has them made for him.
21. I went to a place that does hydraulic hoses, etc. I have a 61 which has the same size hose. They had a flexible 3" hose that fit my car exactly. It was a black plastic that was flexible. It may not be the correct color but has the right size which was more important to me. I am in NJ if that is any help to you.
22. Hi Steve, I do the Watchung Chapter for the NJ Region (which I also do). I have received the NJ Region password but nothing for the Watchung Chapter site. It is used very little but I would like to be able to update it to delete the old flea market held in March. Forwarded to Pat.
23. See the article below. It states that the ATFs are all backwards compatible to the beginning. http://www.oldcarsweekly.com/article/Automatic_transmission_fluid/
24. Try this as it has the PPG codes which you should be able to cross to whatever paint you want to use: http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1955-buick-pg01.jpg
