  1. I saw Brenda, his wife, on Sunday. She said he was supposed to come home yesterday (Wed) from rehab.
  2. I always request a fillable form from National as it is much easier. They have been very cooperative in sending them to me.
  3. Here is the form. I posted it in Word format on my web site. I have also posted it as a pdf in this post. I got this from Pat Buckley. http://njaaca.org/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=folder&Itemid=17 2014 Webmasters Registration form.pdf
  4. The NJ Region will hold its 63rd Annual Car Show on Sunday, May 4 at Automatic Switch Co. (ASCO), 50 Hanover Road, Florham Park. It is an AACA style judged show for all vehicles 1989 and prior. There is a flea market, car corral, and food is available. This show is held rain or shine. Car registration is $10 prior to April 13, $20 day of the show. Spectator admission is $2. Registration information including an application and more details can be found at www.njaaca.org, by email at njaaca@outlook.com, or calling the registrar, Judy Fischer at 732-873-3094.
  5. All the winners can be found here: http://www.aaca.org/images/national_awards/2013_National_Award_Winners.pdf
  6. Gary, just a thought. Since you mentioned the article above, you might try the AACA Library, you never know. They certainly have a lot of articles like that I would think.
  7. Hi Judy, yes they do. I sent in all my club information electronically last year. They actually prefer it that way when I was talking with them.
  8. To make the reporting forms submission easier, I have added them as Word documents to my Region website. You can find them at the top of this link: http://njaaca.org/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=folder&Itemid=17 Please note that this is only for the regions. I do not have a Word version of the chapter form.
  9. I have an MG and know that in NJ there seems to be a shortage of mechanics to work on them. Some are around but not all have the expertise you might want. A person could do well in that line of work here in this area.
  10. Wayne, you should also publish these as a Word document so we can fill them in electronically which is a lot easier. That is what I did last year.
  11. The below link 1 will take you to the color chart for a 1962 with PPG, Ditzler. Link2 is similar but another place for paint. 1. http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/chipdisplay.cgi?year=1962&manuf=GM&smodel=Oldsmobile&info=&page=13 2. http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1962-Oldsmobile-pg01.jpg
  12. On Sunday, May 5, 2013, the NJ Region will hold its 62nd Annual Spring Meet Car Show at ASCO, 50 Hanover Road, Florham Park. This is an AACA type judged show with ~ 220-250 AACA eligible cars (also 1988 and older dispaly class available), a flea market, car corral, and food. This is a rain or shine event. More details can be found at njaaca.org or by email at njaaca@outlook.com.
  13. The information for the NJ Region car show is now on njaaca.org
  14. Marty, we just sent in our application. Hopefully, I will not have to ride with you out of necessity. We did have a lot of fun touring together. See you in Philly.
  15. Try LeBaron-Bonney. They had them for my 50 Olds as some of them cross over from Chevrolet. They merged with Hampton Coach that did the Chevrolet products.
  16. On May 5, the NJ region of the AACA will hold their 66th Annual Spring Meet in Florham Park. AACA judging rules are used for all classes. The forms for the meet are not yet done but complete details will be posted when they are available. This is a rain or shine event with ~ 225 cars attending last year, almost all AACA eligible although we do have a small non-stock class. If you have any questions, you can drop me a line at njaacaatoutlook.com (using at instead of @ to stop automated scooping of my email address). Bill Pritchett, webmaster NJ Region AACA
  17. We all know they are small. However, a picture of one vs. a standard size car would be informative. Racing history briefly discussed sounds interesting. I know you have a lot to cover but leave a little time for Q&A.
  18. Glad to hear everything is relatively ok and see you soon.
  19. Bush was a member of the NJ Region for many years and went on about every annual summer tour for many years. He was great with our three children who enjoyed his stories. He would often ride with my wife and I during the later tours as his driving in the later years could be a little interesting to say the least. We always enjoyed his riding with us as he was an endless source of stories from his foreign service. Often we also had dinner together so he was with us quite a bit. We certainly will miss him on the tours and seeing him on a couple of the southern tours that we attended after he moved south.
  20. Marty that certainly looks like fun. Try doing that during Mardi Gras.
  21. I like his show so it should be interesting. Also, you will get many chances to see it over the next few months as they have quite a few repeats.
