Howard Price ( BCA 428 ) has passed away . He was one of the original members of the BUICK Owners of Maryland Chapter of the BCA . Howard was always there with a wealth of Buick knowledge . I emailed them , I said check the body plate , I think you have a Special model 48. Buick never made a Century tourback in 40 . I was asking here if I was wrong . Then he changed the ebay ad to state the car is a Special. Bill

update , they just corrected the add to a Special .

Thanks for the info. I'm looking at a 53 Special hdtp with a stick shift. The dual carb set up with the dual exhaust manifold would make the car jump ! Wife not too happy about this , I'm still working on my 55 Century model 68 clone with 3 deuces . Bill

Other models the use this glass 1954 to 56 special 2 dr sedan model 48 ( 55 century 2dr sedan model 68 HaHa ) I think 1954 to 56 Olds 88 2dr sedan I can buy repo but would rather not . Bill
