Last week , I found a NOS fender on Ebay for my 55 Buick . Location was Holly Michigan ( South of Flint ). I emailed Roberta to see if anyone in the area could pick up the fender if I bought it. That's the wagon. I blew the rear out of it racing at the Buick meet at Cecil County Dragway , it was so violent , the whole car shock. . We rebuilt the rear and I took the wagon out for a spin and everything was fine, HAULED A## . When it came time to go racing , I lost interest . It always drew a crowd , plan Jane cream colored Buick wagon . The most asked question was "Where is the Nitrous ?" My answer was " Its a Buick, you don't need nitrous !!! " Bill

I owned this 68 wagon for more then 30 years, 1st as my go to work car ,2nd as my tow car for our 70 GSX and third as my 1/4 mile terror ! I sold it last year . At age 75 , I felt it was time to stop drag racing. Best 1/4 mile time was 9.95 @ 135.88 mph , but honest 10.00s to 10.10's Video on youtube 9sec buick wagon PS. The engine was a 494 cu in buick @ 687 hp !!

1997 Regal GS was a mid year introduction and this is a very early car #099 . You could not bring a used Regal GS ( 97 to 2004 ) back to this condition for the money . Remember, this is 20 years old and you could run antique tags on it in many states. Bill

I think I will pass on this one. Present owner said last owner removed the plate under the hood that is the tell-all plate . Speedometer with trip gauge , 8000 miles, can't see century emblem on dash, no engine turn dash, 4 barrel carb with air cleaner , late valve covers with oil fillers. Oh well , Bill

I emailed the seller , I don't see the engine - turn dash , no pics of the engine .Century name on dash is blacked out . I ask for the model number from the plate under the hood and pics of the engine and speedometer. The Century names on the side have the same holes as the Special emblems and not that many Century sticks produced . I will post his reply Bill

I think you will find this problem with most cars in the Northeast . The Lesabre was # 1 in sales as far as full size car for many years. Great cars ! If you find one with Gran touring suspension , the ride isn't as soft. Bill

I saw that and the carb could have been correct 66 -67 ( 66 425 or 67 400 430 ) with the fuel inlet pointing to the passenger's side . I was laughing and my what said " its not that funny , a carb as a gift ". Bill

I think the tow package in 71 and 72 on the full size cars included the Stage 1 engine ?????????????????? Bill

The dual carb set-up along with the air cleaner , carbs , intake and exhaust manifolds are the key to this sedanette , everything else is bad . Maybe the stainless trim is OK . Is the Big series air cleaner the same spacing as the small series ? Bill

55 Super had a 4 barrel with 236 hp same as century and Roady. If that is a special and if is a 55 engine ,its a 264 cu in
