  1. Your 67 left the factory with a 400 engine that will take an extreme overbore without problems. The latter 455 engines are the same physical external size as the original 400 that was in your car so its a matter of just having the right parts to return it back to a big block car. Henry
  2. I have the left and right rear quarter pair of electric regulators for a 68 Skylark convert for $175.00 plus postage. From the same '68 car I also have the upper and lower rear seat assemblies with nice black factory seat covers. Henry

  5. '71 442 grilles are plastic with one "U" shaped aluminum molding around the border. All '71 Cutlass Supremes had a heavy die cast metal chromed plated grilles. Henry
  6. Take a look on the rear body upright pillar posts, there may be plastic plugs that cover mounting plates for the barn style doors. Such was the case on Suburbans of the mid '70's. Henry
  7. I was just skimming through a Dec. 1986 Cars and Parts magazine and advertised for sale in Oldsmobile Cars For Sale on page 121 was this ad; "Olds 1965 rare Starfire convertible, one of a kind, factory 4-speed, stored 12 years, in fine condition, must sell. $5,500.00. 614-898-9730 (OH)" 18 years too late? Henry

  9. Some years ago I entered a deal to purchase a theft recovery very clean 2nd owner 59 Corvette(missing engine/trans/radiator/wheelcovers and a original owner 57 Morris Minor and a kind of a nice daily driver 65 Pontiac 4dr Catalina. The seller was in his mid '70's and purchased the Vette as a 2 year old car. Morris and Pontiac were both purchased new by him. We had a "layaway" plan, I made monthly payments for 2 years, I also obtained a '59 283 4bl engine and trans as a replacement engine. At his location I cleaned and worked on all three cars. As I was nearing the end of the 2yr payment areement(I had showed up with the last one) He got cold feet and handed me all my money back, said he couldn't bear to part with them! He did say I would be the buyer in the future but that has been over 9 years now and nothing has changed. I still visit a couple of times a year and keep the Morris and Pontiac started for him(maybe for me?). Time will tell.........Henry

  11. I have one on a 68 Wildcat 2dr hdtp, It's complete and it operates well. I have all cables, wires, switch, clamps, round chrome bezel and homemade hole template to index from rear quarter. Mast is straight. I DON'T KNOW if its the same as a convert though. I also have just the antenna unit(works) from a 69 Electra convert with a slightly bent mast. It works, has a teardrop shaped bezel. Will sell or trade for antenna for 66-7 442, 66-7 Olds wagon or 66-7 GTO power antenna(s). Henry

  15. There was a common after market kit offered to add opera windows back in the '70's. I remember all brands of cars having the oval opera windows installed in the sail panels. Henry
  16. Put the wheel back on the car, put the car on the ground and rock the car back and forth. With the weight of the car chances are it will break free and roll. Henry

  18. Mark At 512-303-0833 (Tx) with have an automatic console and shifter from a '64 Wildcat. Henry
  19. Sorry, the car was converted to V6 Buick power back in the early '80's and the original parts were long gone by the time I received it. 3spd standard steering column is still in place less the shifter arm and still ahs the manual trans small brake pedal but all clutch pedal parts are long gone. Henry.
  20. I have a 62 F85 2dr post Cutlass that's an abandoned project car. Was originally a V8 3spd standard, now has Buick V6(won't turn)/turbo350, has newer interior from ????????I don't know. Body paint was stripped, primed and jammed with pale yellow, all glass/doors/decklid/chrome and stainless trim removed. Majority of all parts amd trim seem to be in the trunk. Both rear quarters have small rust holes in bottom of lower rear of quarters. Hood is buckled from stiff hinge. Bumpers very nice, windshield cracked from careless handling. Has all new Fusick weatherstipping with it. It's in Austin, Tx. and worth about $500.00 to me. Offer? Possible trade for '66 F-85/Cutlass/442, '67 Delmont 88, or '66 Tempest/Lemans/GTO items I might need/want. Henry
  21. Looks like JCWhitney add ons, I went through the New York City area and the were very common on many cars in the city. Search bumper guards on eBay and lots of nos aftermarket ones show up. Henry
  22. No they do not, '65-'70 full size Olds only. Henry
  23. I think you may have an eight point fitting where the end of a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar or rachet will fit. Henry
  24. All full size converts '71-'76 shared the same convert parts, by sharing common parts it made it feasable to offer low production converts. Remember '71 and newer converts were not offered on the Olds 98 or Buick 225's, only the smaller Olds 88's and Buick Lesabre/Centurions with the ElDorado the only Cad convert. Henry
