  10. What I've surmised that if a car was assembled in Cal but intended for sale elsewere the heads were drilled, tapped and plugged, it will also have the tall oil filer tube. No other hardware present. If the Starfire has the mounting bracket for the reactor pump I'm sure it was originally equipped with the full system. I have 2 '66's that were assembled in Cal and they both have the K19 delete consisting of drilled, tapped and plugged heads and the tall oil filler tube. All my other '66's were built in Lansing are not tapped and drilled and carry the short oil filler tube. My '67 CHP 88 built in Lansing had the full Cal smog system as did any Olds sold in Cal. for '66 or '67. My thanks to Curt A. of Minn. who clarified for this for me a few years ago. Henry.
  11. Right now on eBay 2440599755 offered for sale is a '66-'67 trunk release with a good view of the jointed rod. Henry
  12. The fenders are the same between 2dr and 4dr cars, however the wheel opening trim is styled differently. Henry
  13. Looking for a radio delete plate for a '67 Olds 88. Thanks, Henry
  14. '67 and '68 fenders are completly different and not interchangable. The doors MIGHT interchange less the glass. Henry
  15. If you want to come to Austin I may have the parts you need on 2 '67 Olds parts cars. My '67 Delmont88 ex CHP police car has just arrived in Austin! Henry
  16. You'll need the frame mounts that bolt to the crossmember from the full size Pontiac. Pontiac engine will bolt right up to your Olds transmission. Henry
  17. A quick way to check is the 350 has a shift kick down cable, the 400 does not have a cable, you can see the cable by looking under the hood near the firewall heading down to the transmission on the passenger side of the car. Looking at the transmission pan under the car the 350 will be square shaped with a corner cut off. The 400 pan will be a free form shape with lots of curves. Henry
  18. I saw that one on ebay a while ago it was a 2dr post model. Henry
  19. The shaft of the mirror has 2 flat spots on it where a 1/4 inch open end wrench can be used to unscrew the mirror. Once the mirror head is unscrewed the chrome piece against the door comes off making the die cast bracket mounting screws apparent. Henry
  20. All body parts are completly different between '65 and '66. '64 and '65 quarter panels are the same, '65 grille is by its self. You might chect with Mark in Elgin, Tx. for parts, he has about 25 '64 through '67 Skylark/Special parts cars. Phone # 512-303-0833. Henry
  21. I think 1,000 bucks would be an all time record price for one! You can buy a whole car with a good hood for less money. I know I have. Henry
  22. I believe they utilized a front door from a 4dr car, while the next door in line is a coupe door. Henry.
  23. They are a steel wheel core with a bonded on rubberized face. Henry
