  1. Check with Mark in Texas, 512-303-0833, he has a rough but complete 67 GS convert with buckets, console, floor shift automatic and tilt steering column. Henry
  2. '66 442's used a 10 bolt differential so apparently someone has swapped it out. A 98 rear end assembly is much larger and heavier than one for "A" body cars so there won't be any parts interchange there. Henry
  3. I need low cost transport for a non running but rolling 4,000 lbs car from LosAngeles, Ca to Austin, Tx. Clock is running I have 60 days! Thanks, Henry.
  4. I'm looking for low cost transport for a 4,000 lbs non running but rolling car from Los Angeles, Ca to Austin, Tx. Clocks running, have 60 days to pick it up! Thanks, Henry.
  5. Check out Chevy pickup truck wheels, they had 7 and 8 inch wheels available with 5 on 5 bolt pattern and you can use your wheel covers on them. Henry
  6. Get some '64-'67 283/327 Chevelle motor mount frame brackets bolted to cross member, same years Chevelle motor mounts to use, will need to change minor items like front exhaust pipes linkage etc. I had a '66 el Camino I installed a '67 Cutlass 330 engine/2spdautotrans into. Henry
  7. You will have to build a driveshaft for that combo. The '72 98 has a long tail turbo 400 with a round flange on the driveshaft to connect to the rearend. Henry
  8. I do not know about your car but I had a '65 Riviera and a set of 57 Cadillac Gold Sabre wheels and found the Caddy wheels were too small to go over the Buick finned drums so look carefully. Henry.
  9. In Austin, Tx. in my daily driver '66 I've been stopped 2 times this year for no apparent seat belt use, when officer get to my door he then sees I'm only equipped with lap belts and sent on my way! Henry.
  10. What about trying a different inspection station that may be in a better mood? Henry.
  11. Check with Year One, they have bucket seat spring assemblies listed for sale, about $83 for the bottom section. Henry
  12. The '67 Chevrolet would be a "B" body and comparable with the '67 Olds 88 series. The 98's have a longer wheelbasse and are related to Buick Electra 225 and Cadillac Devilles. Henry
  13. '67 and '68 standard bucket seats(less seat cover design) are the same, they both used the seat back locks with the side release button. One area of difference is the '67 uses metal seat backs and lower side skirts, while the '68's use plastic parts instead, but the pieces interchange between the 2 years. Henry.
  14. Studebaker had one in 1963 according to a brochere I just looked at. Henry
  15. I have a '64 full-size Chevrolet passenger car brochere that shows an AMFM. Also the '64 full-size Oldsmobiles offered them. Henry
  16. Interchange shows to be 65 SF and 88 converts and 4dr 88's only. I think the 2drs have a longer lid due to sloping roof line. Henry
  17. YearOne sells them. Henry
  18. I think all '67 Skylarks came with rear fender skirts so they did not have moldings in the rear. Henry
  19. I think they just used 2 sheet metal screws. Henry
  20. A standard transmission 442 was available with power brakes, The W30 4spd cars may not had power brake option. Originally most '70 442's had a steel hood, the ram air hood is the exception to the rule. The pictures of restored 442's have often been upgraded to ram air hoods. There is not any way to ID the tranny as a M20 or M21 while installed in the car as the share the same case and casting #'s. Over the years many as used cars many 442's were "fixed" with whatever was available and Cutlass bumpers were more common to find. Henry
  21. I purchased some 15" wheels on eBay, they were sent via USPS and cost about 21.00 per wheel. Southampton, Pa 18966 to Austin, Tx 78727. I'm cetain there are cheaper options but seller said post office was easiest for him. Henry
  22. Try Mark at 512-303-0833. He's parting out about 25 '64-'67 Skylarks and Specials. Henry
  23. A natural name for it would be the ElFiesta keeping the Spanish connection with ElCamino intact. Henry
  24. By the way they never produced a '75 Z28! I also notice that you spell enthusiest with an E while I use an A in enthusiast. Henry
