2. looks kinda like a spammer
3. aren't 67 and 68 bucket seats totally different?
4. looks like you may of got a better deal on this car than you first thought, eh? looks like it may of been worth what you "invested" in it now!
5. got ahold of someone near me who had some pics, and they are from a 66 skylark. they seem to be in pretty good condition except one center has some dicoloration, some minor pitting around the spinner, and a few small dents. havent seen any on ebay this afternoon, will keep looking. thanks. rob
6. just bought a pair of "good" condition 14" spinner caps from a guy at a yardsale yesterday for $20. he thought they were for a ford falcon because of the bird in the center. they are two bar spinners with the orange and gold skylark emblem center. are these for any particular year? i have only seen pictures of them on mid-sixties cars. what are they valued at and does anybody have another pair in like condition? thanks. rob
7. looking for a deal on the 67 front fender "gills" and wheel well chrome, what do you have? thanks. rob
8. i just converted my 74 century's rear quarter windows to full size from the small opera type that came with the landau roof. i removed the tattered vinyl and noticed that the panel that covered the window was only spot welded and puttyed in to hide the seam. the inside panel just pulled forword and revealed a full sized glass. couldn't you use any century and install a panel to cover the window?
9. doesn't J.C.Whitney handle tires like these? i haven't looked at a cataloge lately, but i remember they used to.
10. was this an A/C car and if not does it have the air conditioner delete heater cover? if so, how much?
11. this is true of my 67 special. older lady i bought it from said it had sat for about a year because when she tried to start it last it wouldn't. she also stated the engine had about 300 k miles on it so she didnt think the car was worth much [i got it for $200]. my girlfriend and i towed it home and started playing around with it. i checked the spark plugs, fluids, put on some jumper cables, pulled the after-market manual choke and she fired right up! now she is an almost daily driver with NO leaks, tranny shifts great, and the engine only smokes a little when i start it up in the morning. she is a pretty great little stocked out 2-door that has turned into one of my favorite all-time cars.

reminds me of the joke about the two rednecks setting on the porch watching the dog licking himself. the first one says " golly, i shore wish i could do that!". the second one says " naw, don't do that, he'll bite cha".[sorry, that one just gets me"]

that is one of the things I like about this site. you can usaully get the right answers to a problem and from more than one contributer. makes for a nice exchange. I wouldn't accuse someone of being ignorant for making a few mistakes if the intention is good, and you usually don't get that here. they will tell you if your are mistaken, though, if only to clarify a point.
