  1. You might try www.unityusa.com, they are a manufacturer/supplier of spotlights for decades and carry a lot of obsolete parts in stock. Henry
  2. '71 through '76 full size GM(chev/pont/olds/buick/cad) converts share all convert top related parts, top frames/latches/all window glass/top motor system/windshield frame/etc. Henry
  3. '67 through '70 full size GM cars used unique to each division (chev/pont/olds/buick) front end parts, spindle/rotors so you must stay with the full size Olds parts. Henry
  4. The 5th figure position of the vin will tell you if it's a 455 car. 455 codes were T, V, U, and W. Henry
  5. Call Mark at 512-303-0833 in Texas. He has over 30 64-67 Skylark/Special/GS parts and project cars including at least one complete running '65 2dr post Skylark. Henry
  6. You will have to find a '67-'70 69 full size Buick car or Riviera as an OEM donor. '69 and '70 would be the best choice as the '67-'68 have dual piston caliphers that are quite obsolete. '71 and newer are not interchangable. Henry
  7. The disc brake system from 69 and 70 88/98s will work. I believe the control arms are the same regardless from 65-70. '67-'68 88's also had a disc brake option but the were of the dual piston calipher style and best to stay away from. You will also have to change to 15 inch wheels for clearence along with adding the dual master cylinder system. Henry
  8. I am suprised but no harm done, he may just be busy with other things. I'll wait and see. Henry
  9. Hi Bruce, I have yet to be contacted by the donor, I had sent a private message to him and I see he'sthus far a one time poster. Henry
  10. I'm in Austin and I'll take it! Henry
  11. Call Mark at 512-303-0833 he's parting out a couple of '66s. Henry.
  12. Mark at 512-303-0833 is parting out a complete '67 GS 400 convert. Henry
  13. Sounds like someone replaced one side with a Chevelle style upper control arm, Chevelle will interchange but has the lighter duty design. Henry
  14. Sad to say but the '66 parts are completly different. Where are you located? If you are close to Tx I think I can help you find some parts. I purchased an exCHP '67 Delmont 88 police car last year so I've been keeping both eyes open looking for extra parts around here. Henry
  15. There's a major problem with using a '68 front clip on a '67. The '67 has exposed windshield wipers, a short hood with a filler panel between the hood and windshield while '68 went to a longer hood minus the filler panel to conceal the wiper system. Henry
  16. What's your location? If your close to Austin, Tx. I can lead you to one, if you want just a fender or the whole car. 88/98 fenders are completly different. Henry
  17. I have a salvage '66 Toro about 98% complete but very rough. I'll check it for floor rust. Also have 5 decent factory chrome wheels for a '66 Toro. Henry
  18. Completly different wheel, the wheel is deeply dished to allow the wheel cover to fit flush. Henry
  19. Is that number stamped or cast in the block? If its a cast in number it just signifies the day the block was cast, not the date of engine assembly. So it would seem reasonable that there would be a time span between the casting date of the block and the final assembly of the complete car. Remember the end of the year has a lot of holidays to slow production down(Thanksgiving/Christmas/NewYears). Henry
  20. Check with Mark in Tx 512-303-0833. He's parting ut 30+ 64-67 Skylarks/Specials/GS's. Henry
  21. According to the Setting the Pace(Oldsmobile history book) there was 12,822 of them. Henry
  22. Just ask the parts house for brake parts for a '75 Cutlass which should get you the 9.5 brake parts. Henry
  23. Sounds like a replaced rear end assembly, '73-'75 GM "A" body except station wagons all had 9.5 rear drums. Henry
  24. I have a '64 88 with very clean right fender, hood, grille and core support that I'll sell if you can pick up in Austin, Tx. Henry
