  1. I have used Associated for over 30 years. Not the cheapest but they are always in the best of shape and they will place the john on any spot you request. Tell them what day you want it and it will be there... Pay by credit card. Frank
  2. Maybe a 1912 NY plate. (Red porcelain with white letters, NY on the far right). I found this photo of the Hotel Marlborough located at 36th and Broadway in NYC. Notice the Reagal shoe store to the right. Frank
  3. This will be my 47th year. I plan to sell some parts, buy some parts, eat good food, eat bad food, but mostly see old friends and young friends. Arriving Tuesday afternoon with the same gang... Frank
  4. I received a question about this gear set. photos attached. Due to the physical size of the ring, I think it is for the twin six prior to 1921.
  5. You still haven't said the brand of truck. I know we needed new rims for our WW2 troop carrier and found replacement rims on VintagePowerWagons.com Frank
  6. Ring and pinion set to fit Marmon D74, E75, 34C. Slight surface rust, may be unused. Ring: 41 teeth; Pinion: 10 teeth. $1000 set. Ring gear only (no pinion) NEW 49 teeth. $800. 9. Most likely an aftermarket radiator script for the Model T Ford. Repro vendors have them... Frank
  10. Sorry, I have several Model T axles and this is MUCH heavier. But thanks... Frank
  11. I got this rear axle shaft about 20 years ago from an old Ford dealership, so I'm guessing it fits a Ford, but I can't find it in my Ford Chassis Parts Manual. Any help? 32" long, 1.625" Dia, 6 spline end, 7/8 x 14 thread. Thanks for the help... Frank
  12. Not sure how rare it is, every Reo T6 had one.😄
  13. Reo: 1923-1926 Model T6 and and Models E & G Frank
  14. Check the tread on a Lester from Universal Tire. I think Lesters offer the softest, smoothest ride of any tire offered today... Frank
  15. I drove a Waverly maybe 20 years ago that was owned by a friend who lived near Boston. Loved that car. It went for sale a few years later, but I didn't have the money. I do now, but the car is somewhere else... Frank
  16. I remember the Henry Ford movie starring Cliff Robertson in 1987. It was just full of inaccuracies. It started with the camera moving silently through a machine shop, with men's voices in the background discussing the new Ford engine for 1908. Supposedly, it was Henry and his engineers and they were discussing the new casting and the internal magneto design. As the camera zoomed in on the engine, there, sitting next to the men was a 1926-27 engine with wide pedals. I knew I was in trouble... Frank
  17. You need to post dimensions. The wood wheel hubcaps had the same disk, but the pins that secure it to the casting are on the sides. Frank
  18. If you want to try my spring, we can deal. If you find out it is wrong, just send it back for full refund less shipping. Frank Since your spring appears to be broken, are the mounting ears on the same side, or opposite? Mine are on the same side.
  19. I may have some, I'll check today and get back to you... Frank I just checked, all dimensions are the same, but mine spring winds clockwise, yours counter clockwise. Sorry.
  20. I found this through a Google search, City of Boston:
  21. Could be, but there may not be enough of the truck to show the differences between the two years. If you say it's a 34, then I guess it's a 34.... Frank
  22. I don't know about where you live, but here, premixed is 50% higher in cost that the straight. I can get 2 gallons of straight for about $20 and one gallon of 50/50 for $18. I can add my own water... By the way, the container actually holds 4 quarts... Frank
  23. Just a note to inform others about the new (at least to me) SuperTech antifreeze containers at Walmart. Now I don't believe Walmart makes its own antifreeze, or even its own containers, but take a look at what I discovered. These are 4 quart containers with markings on the side to delineate quart measures. I highlighted the markings with red to make it easier to see. Notice that the top most mark is 3QT (3 quarts) and the mark just below that is 3L (3 liters). Pay attention to the 1 liter mark. If you think back to your school days, everyone knows that a liter is bigger than a quart, at least it used to be... I'm not picking on the Walmart brand, just informing you if you unwittingly use the marks on the side of the container to help you make a 50/50 mixture. I placed the black marks at 1/4 intervals to show where the quart marks should have been. Frank
  24. I would get a name brand 6 volt coil like Standard/Blue Streak. Avoid the cheapest ones, probably made in China. Once you get it running, you can take the time to either repair the original ones or toss them... Frank
