  6. Wouldn't you have to empty the carb bowl before any thing would happen? I don't see how this would brake.
  7. We didn't take the plugs out on our 36. Just soaked and used pipe cleaners and compressed air. Got a lot of crud out.
  8. Does that pump have a push rod and is it installed properly?

  11. I never had any as a kid, but we were never in a wreck and I wasn't in anything older than the steel monsters of the 50's and 60's. A lot fewer drivers on the road back then.
  12. Not trying to start an argument, but what about kids? Doesn't the law require them to be strapped in a car seat? And is the alternative to be thrown out of the car?
  13. He's just using it for a short (2 second) burst to prime the carb. It doesn't run constantly.
  14. Some insulation between the pump and the frame should help with the noise. Looks like you solved your problem.
  15. I remember watching a guy try to kick start a Harley. He got it wrong and it threw him over the handlebars. You guys are braver than me.

  18. Somewhere in the forum somebody made a similar set for his car. I don't remember the details.
