  1. And eBay will also be sending you (and the IRS) a 1099 tax form too yet another reason to flee flea-bay
  2. Here’s a pic of the odometer. 94K miles These engines typically are due for a rebuild at 60K to 70K. If the oil pan has not been dropped and cleaned as well as removing and inspecting the water jacket and block it will certainly need a full rebuild.
  3. I’ve been in contact with the owner, hers my observations. Body appears solid, repaint that looks ok. Has not run in two to three years due to his cancer. Upholstery has been redone. The dash faux wood grain looks superb. No overdrive and without a true mileage, the condition of the mechanical engine is a pig in a poke. The pics of the engine compartment show tons of cobwebs, so it’s definitely been sitting awhile. overall thoughts: will need oil pan dropped and cleaned, check the bearing (rods & mains) spec may need clutch service radiator flush and possible
  4. Yes. He did the rear shade for my 1934 Terraplane earlier this year. Excellent workmanship

  6. Unfortunately that’s a lot of money for that camera with no plate holders. Without them, you’ll be unable to use it.
  7. I have successfully used liquid electrical tape to repair bellows light leaks. It might be a bit unsightly on the red bellows, however. 😀

  9. As a practitioner of early photographic processes (I do most processes including Daguerreotypes, wet-plate collodion, gelatin dry plates, and roll film) I can attest to the endless rabbit hole. I built a full wet darkroom when most are ripping them out, playing with ‘dangerous’ chemicals, lugging heavy and expensive field cameras around, spending mucho $ on original lenses, on and on. It’s as bad as my antique car addiction. My latest endeavor is making my own photographic emulsions to hand coat film in obsolete formats so I can use my antique film cameras (122 format). I’m already
  10. Early 1930's aftermarket car radio made by Arvin. Radio control head mounts to steering column. Chassis (empty - no electronics) mounts to firewall. Currently non-functional but could easily be retrofitted with modern electronics. $250 plus shipping.
  11. Appreciate the reminder about needing the sticker for entry to the vendor field - got it covered. Still looking to get my question answered about parking my trailer. thanks!
  12. First timer here. I’ve been asked to park my ‘34 Terraplane at our club space on the vendor field on Thursday and I will be on the show field Saturday. Will I be able to park my trailer on Thursday morning and leave it until Saturday after the show? Todd Harrington
  13. First timer here too. Im interested in Ted’s question #1. I’ve been asked to park my ‘34 Terraplane at our club space on the vendor field on Thursday and I will be on the show field Saturday. Will I be able to park my trailer on Thursday morning and leave it until Saturday after the show? todd harrington
