  1. Just going on what details were provided, I'm guessing she probably has a $1500 car at best.
  2. I usually spray new tanks with a good quality clear coat before installing.
  3. I like that car. Realistically, what are we looking at here , a 5 K car ?
  4. I would think that it would be good at high speed cornering, having just one front wheel. 😁
  5. That sure is an odd looking automobile. I think with a few hours of detailing that car would look pretty good on the outside. I bet it wouldn't take long to get it running.
  6. I looked at the picture before I read the text. It is a flywheel holder, to be used in conjunction with a starter clutch wrench. The starter clutch unscrews so that the flywheel can be lifted up off the crankshaft. I have a set of those tools that I used to use frequently.
  7. I recently purchased a couple years worth of Skinned Knuckles magazines. I really like them.
  8. Agreed, no doubt it's got 121,000 miles. I've got a '47 that I hope eventually looks as good as this one.
  9. Malibu 2 door sports coupe, glacier blue exterior, dark blue cloth interior. Kansas city Missouri. That's all I got.
  10. We're Vermont tags good for 1 year back then ? That tag says it's good until April 1938.
  11. I think the last picture, the oval headed bolts, were used by Plymouth, late 30's- late 40's.
  12. I'm close enough to this car that I could stop by and check it out if someone's really interested in it.
  13. I did a Bing image search and it said that the lady was Sara Teasdale (August 8, 1884 – January 29, 1933)
  14. Waltonfab.com. They have new copper radiators for your 51
  15. The cam lobe won't move the lever near as much as you do by hand when it's in a vise.
  16. I would connect an air chuck to the end of the fuel line and give a shot of air back to the tank, that should remove any debris that's trapped in the line or sending unit.
  17. I'm close enough to Lansing that if someone is seriously interested in the car, I could do a hands on inspection if needed.
