  1. CARS LLC states they have your reservoir: www.oldbuickparts.com
  2. 1967 Buick Riviera for sale. All power AC car. Everything works. $13000. Non molested.
  3. 1967 Riviera with less than 90K miles. Automatic, AC, all power. Everything works, no mods. Has one light re-paint done well but long ago. $13000. Must sell since I acquired another
  4. Greetings all Since I got my black '67 with less miles than my gold one, its about time to sell the '67 goldie. Will be available next month 'cuase I'm working out of state mostly. I guess its worth around 13,000 USD, so that's the asking price now. Please let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks.
  5. Funny and sad UTube video on Wittek fake clamps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EmkxuOrdA4
  6. Nice! Did you use 4-way stretch?
  7. I'm goin with "Two Tons". Its Riv' specific and I'm partial to '73's.
  8. Be careful, there are cheaply made looms that cant handle engine heat. The stuff off the store shelf is garbage. The real GM deal costs much more and I had to buy it in bulk from Amazon. (I did my '86 El Camino with it, 3 sizes.) That goes for the tape as well. Get the Hi Temp 3M tape.
  9. Not sure about '66. But I still have my original '67 cardboard. There is no sheen at all. And its almost a photo image of the liner. It is dark gray with tiny light gray "fibers" printed over it. From 6 feet away it visually matches the fabric liner perfect. I'm replacing the fabric. Ordered this from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MWBQ1IK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 Will let you know how it is when it arrives?
  10. Just an update: Now they want $300. a wheel plus shipping and a 4 month turn around. A third increase in price and wait time in less than 3 years since. And they are NOT perfect? They must be doing REAL WELL. Not worth it now. I'm going back to original deluxe wheel covers ultimately.
  11. Sadly, the death and once art form of the wheel cover remains a stigma. Seems everyone had to have the rally or race rim and tossed the covers. Like polyester suits, there were terrible wheel covers. But there were some real beautiful, original things created then. The Riviera was unique. Rallys are not as unique to me.
  12. That is sculpture! Too classy for a 'vette, just right on a Riv. Where it started. On the hunt....found 15 inch PO2's NOS for $2400. U.S.!!! Will wait for cheaper. Who wants my rallys?
  13. In my search for wheel parts I discovered the Corvette PO2 "turbine" wheel covers are similar to the '67 Riv' covers. Gorgeous and rare. Other than center medallions, are these two interchangeable?
  14. Pascal has your back: "Pascal's law or the principle of transmission of fluid-pressure (also Pascal's Principle) is a principle in fluid mechanics that states that pressure exerted anywhere in a confined incompressible fluid is transmitted equally in all directions throughout the fluid such that the pressure variations (initial differences) remain the same. The law was established by French mathematician Blaise Pascal."
  15. dwhite, who is rebuilding your motor? May I ask the what the fee is? I'm looking for a '67 pro' rebuild, eventually. Thanks
  16. - don't they all? Any way, my '67 has (among many issues) an after market engine dipstick. Here is a NOS on eBay. But I don't know if my girl can handle the length. Did the '67 have a deep sleeve like the one here? It appears like a tranny stick and not an engine stick? Thanks http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-76-Buick-400-430-455-Dipstick-Tube-/270754653200?hash=item3f0a3c2410:g:PogAAOSwDNdVqWD6&vxp=mtr
  17. Its going to be an epic rebuild by todays norm. It cost me a fortune to have my '73 rebuilt (not traded) way back in '89. I hope you photo document it all.
  18. I found a very interesting article by Mark Deconti on the switch pitch and how very specific, unique data is critical when rebuilding these trannies. http://www.buickperformanceclub.com/SPTrans.htm
  19. All I got a solid yet yellowed tank from ebay. I tried 18 hour hydrogen peroxide bath then a little chlorine. I know bleach can force plastics to yellow but I ran out of ideas. Did NOTHING. Hopefully someone will make new ones. Thanks
  20. This site claims to have a non OEM option <$30.00 http://www.hubcaphaven.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=HC&Product_Code=4683&Category_Code=2285
  21. No, that is a brake pad. The parking (set) brake pad is a 1/4 that size. But thank you! Still looking. I can not find one un-damaged
  22. Want to buy 2nd Gen. or equivalent wiper wash tank, please.
  23. I can not find a reproduction PB pad nor used one in good shape with metal strips yet. My '67 has metal strips. I will not apply one without. Hard core original But thanks! Search goes on......
  24. Please let me know if you have an excellent condition PB pad for a 2nd Gen. or where I can get one? I looked all over the 'net. Just beat up junk so far. Thank you
