My '30 Model A came with a solenoid and push button start installed by the previous owner. If yours has a starting solenoid installed then yes, you could engage the starter with a properly wired remote push button. One could use the method pkhammer described taking the aforementioned precautions. Would be a little cumbersome. In either case, a good idea to have wheels chocked, e. brake engaged and transmission in neutral. I recommend picking up the book Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook by Les Andrews. https://www.mafca.com/cart/index.php?productID=166

So is this Willys actually a Whippet? To me, the engine compartment looks way to long for that Jeep engine. -

Looks like some kind of an engine transplant. -
This was covered earlier. I agree, way too much fun.

FWIW. Dad had those on his farm tractor steering wheels but not on his car or trucks.

I've seen a couple of them though it has been several years ago. -
1929 Chevrolet Coupe - $10,000
AzBob replied to Leif in Calif's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
Looks like a relatively fresh paint job on the body with little or no attention to the mechanics. Seems to be fairly complete. I believe it is priced on the high side. -
Same experience here with Rock Valley AA. 9 years ago they replicated a stainless tank for my '26 Buick Coupe I owned at the time. To my satisfaction, they were able to precisely locate the fuel pickup, gas gauge and filler tubes. Work was top notch. The cost was $900 but well worth it in my case. Have read that Rock Valley AA is moving or have moved and are hard to reach at this time.

1910 Maxwell Q-4 Sportsman on BaT
AzBob replied to Leif in Calif's topic in "Not Mine" Automobiles For Sale
Especially with rear wheel brakes only and no windshield. 😨 Interesting Brass Maxwell. T head, 22 hp @ 900 rpm plus 3 speed sliding gear trans. Two hp and one more forward gear than a Model T Ford. There is good documentation that goes with it. Lots to like here. Does appear to need attention in a number of areas. -
1934 FORD VICTORIA W/ COLUMBIA $46,500

Nice looking '34 Victoria.👍 To my eyes, the red wheels match the red pin stripe and go good with black. If it were mine, I would lose the white walls and trim rings. -

Even a challenge for one who works with wood. With this, one gets several challenges. -

Found this year old video of the engine running. Nice throaty 4 cyl. sound to my ears. -
Pretty sure it is a Buick Model 45, not sure of the year. The owner certainly knows what car he is restoring.

Wow, what an epic camping trip. Ironically, there was no rain in the forecast when they started out. Recovery video is worth watching. What's not to like? Model T's, a couple of A's, 1921 Studebaker touring car, Jeep TJ recovery vehicle, flooded roads, eagle, hawk, field of lupines in bloom, mud bog, smoking lightning struck tree, mosquitos and a rattlesnake. 😀

Has anyone played with their TOW to get better more stability in turns?
AzBob replied to Skidplate's topic in Buick - Pre War
Egads, yes,TOE IN. -
The dials “faces” on antique timepieces are especially vulnerable to damage. If using heat, proceed with caution.
