  1. It was a 1936 only option and cost more than the standard interior. It could be done in any color cloth or leather the owner desired. Factory color choices for the Cord were only suggestions. Gordon Buehrig's personal Cord sedan had this interior. Here are a few more examples.
  2. The 100G open cars tend not to shift themselves. It takes a little more today to get a good one.
  3. That is an arm chair Beverly interior. It is done correctly.
  4. Every car has real history. It is a shame they can't talk. The "Final Countdown" Splash the zeros!
  5. Matt, Better to say your Buick was used by a Colonel or a Brigadier General. Anybody 2 stars and up aquired a Cadillac or a Packard. We owned a 1940 Cadillac V-16 a few years ago that was Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz' west coast car. It came out of Harrah's Collection. Also had a 1941 Cadillac Convertible that was purchased on December 3rd 1941 by an Army Air Corps Major. Who trained B-17 crews in Colorado. Some cars have great stories. Andy
  6. Looks like a trunk for a Ford Model A size sedan.
  7. You could buy my 1939 Convertible and just leave the top up. More information at www.petersmotorcars.com
  8. The SUV uses more gas and pays more gas tax. If you leave the cell phone at home you are not being tracked, unless there was another way...
  9. The caption for the bottom photo should be: "Service Manual? Naw we ain't much into book lurnin round here.
  10. The gas tax is a per mile tax. the more you use the more you pay. Tax electric cars by the mile and leave gasoline powered cars alone. However this is more about the ability to track everybody than roads. Be very careful who and what you vote for.
  11. All I can think of is this scene from The Blues Brothers:
  12. Buy the best car you can afford to start with. Restoration is not cheap or easy.
  13. Bob, he said you could buy 2 fords and a nice brass era car for less then the price of the Rambler Convertible.
  14. Snyder's sells a nice conversion for Model A Fords.
  15. Here is a 1948 Chevrolet Sedan I had a few years ago.
  16. These are truly wonderful cars. Here are some factory color ideas.
  17. I thought you had found something better than the fountain of youth or a money tree.
  18. Just curious where are you buying your 1932 Fords and Brass era cars? I would like a dozen or so of each.
