  1. Buick, Packard, Chrysler, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac, Ford, and Mustang. What a collection!
  2. The car is also wearing a Michigan "M" manufacturer plate.
  3. $3000 is not much of a budget to purchase or restore any collector car. I would suggest saving the $3000 and adding to your fund. It may take a few years but will pay you large dividends in the future. Remember restoration is expensive. Even if you do your own work. Just my 2 cents.
  4. The car in photo #1 is a 1911 Packard Model 30 Touring. There are other photos from the same photo shoot in several Packard history books. The Photos were taken on Belle Isle. Which was a popular place for Packard to photograph cars at this time. Many early photos show the Detroit Yacht Club in the background.
  5. Probably out for a drive on Belle Isle. What a great machine. As for snow, these cars do very well in it.
  6. Did the Chevrolet nose trim come from a "name your own price" table in the south east corner of the chocolate field?
  7. I googled Dick Shappy Classic cars and it was the number that came up. My apologies.
  8. I don't think he did. I think this broker copied the list and is trying to represent the cars as his own. The broker told me they were his cars until I asked questions about them. Then they became his "partners". It seems like a case of a third party trying to make a quick buck off of another persons inventory.
  9. That is correct. The guy claiming to own them runs www.vintagecarbuyers.com David 414-630-2853 his name on the AACA is Davlet. Says he is Dick's partner and helping to sell the cars.
  10. It made me think something terrible had happened to my computer for a couple seconds.
  11. Here are a few more photos. Both the B-25 and the Avenger Torpedo Bomber are available for rides! Contact the Liberty Aviation Museum for details: http://www.libertyaviationmuseum.org/
  12. 1940 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe and B-25 Mitchell Bomber "Georgie's Gal" at the Erie Ottawa Airport.
  13. Here are some cars converted for military service. The higher the rank the better the ride.
  14. If somebody has free time contact the seller, tell them you missed the car and ask if they have another one. I bet they do. I also bet it is cheap and that the photos are in a different location. But please do not send them any money.
  15. This looks exactly like a scammer. The account was inactive for over a year. The Location is given as USA. The description is just a few words. Ebay lets you post 24 photos with a car ad. Less photos is a red flag. It means a lazy scammer in most cases.
